ROWAN RETAINS!
The stage was set for one of the most competitive matches in CZW history. Eddie Rowan found himself defending the CZW World Championship against three of his four partners for EI; Mortius, Buzzsaw, and El Pablo. It was a match for the books with each man scoring near-fall after near-fall, but in the end the champion was able to overcome the odds and retain the gold!

RETURN OF THE KING!
At the beginning of the program, Derek Damage hinted at some 'big surprise' to take place at EI. Following the main event, Damage addressed the (somewhat impolite) fans and revealed that the main event for the PPV will have a special guest referee, and that man would be former two-time CZW Champion ACE KING!

OWNED.
In anticipation for the IC Title match at Extreme Insurrection, Ronnie McNeil and Krimzon Blaze made their way to the ring for a contract signing. Not a single person in attendance expected this encounter to end without some form of violence, and unfortunately for KB, they were right! Ronnie sucker-punched Blaze and proceeded to slam him through a table, sending a message to his challenger! Never one to back down from a fight, the fans can expect KB to look for a little 'Retribution' of his own at EI!

EXTREME INSURRECTION: RETRIBUTION PPV!! * Tokyo, Japan *
January 16th 2010
}}}} THE EPITOME OF A CLASSIC! Whenever two athletes the caliber of Justin Marsham and Eric Collum face-off, you know that wrestling fans everywhere are in for a treat. Marsham and Collum fought tooth and nail, neck and neck, each refusing to relent or submit. However, it was an accident that would spell the end, for as Collum had Marsham up for his Collumbine finisher, Marsham's foot accidentally struck referee Stephanie Dee. Concerned for her safety, Collum tended to the fallen woman only to be caught off-guard by Marsham who took advantage of the distraction and won the match! If Collum's post-match comments are any indication, this isn't the last that we've seen of these two facing off.
}}}} GLOBAL TAG PREVIEW GETS GRUESOME! With the Spectacle getting ready to challenge Rosman and Krew for the Global Tag Titles at EI, the fans were treated to a little 'sneak peak' match when Kerosene faced Krew one on one with each man's partner in their respective corner. The contest went from hard-fought to hardCORE in a hurry, and culminated with a weed-wacker shot to Johnny's neck! The match had to be stopped due to the potential of a serious injury, but it was later annouced that Kerosene was not seriously injured. After this little scare, one has to wonder what the Spectacle have in mind to prepare for the madness that the champs are sure to bring!
}}}} CHAOS!! The six-man CZW vs. Renegades tag match turned out to be little more than a surprise attack as Jacob Havok, Kyle Riley and Evan Tyler ambushed Rob Wright, Yoshi Naniwa and Riley O'Connor before the opening bell! Havok decimated Wright before tossing him off the stage into a pile of electrical equipment, taking him out of the contest completely. Yoshi and O'Connor fought valiantly, but were unable to fight back against the odds as the Renegades secured the victory. In the closing moments of the match, El Pablo appeared to extract a bit of revenge against Havok and co. for their assault on him last Overdrive, putting Havok through the announce table and leveling Kyle Riley with an Identity Crisis on the floor before escaping into the crowd!
}}}} HIT AND RUN!
Fans were expecting to see a TLC match for the Ultraviolent Title with Jakob Mayhem defending against Sledge, but in a strange turn of events, a car sped into the parking lot and ran both men down! As of this posting, both men are in serious condition and their attacker is still unknown!
}}}} THE FINAL SHOWDOWN!
Ian Chadwick and Tim Timmons have lately been embroiled in one of the most intense rivalries in recent history, and it was Tim who had the last word going into their final confrontation at EI. Timmons distracted Chadwick during his match against NJAW competitor Kazuo Ishii, luring him out of the ring with a video on the Combat Tron only to jump him with a pipe from the crowd! Chadwick was counted out, giving Ishii the victory for NJAW, as well as giving Tim the momentum heading into Extreme Insurrection!
