"A Cut Above" by Avery Watts surfaces the airwaves as the crowd get to their feet cheering as "The Aerial Specialist" Krimzon Blaze is seen at the top of the ramp, his demeanor still one of shock and confusion from last week's unprecedented attack at the hands of Brian Blaze, Ryan Shane, Allyson Thorn, Matt Covey, and Johnny Kerosene - He walks down the ramp way towards the ring, equipped with a microphone in his hand as he gets a rousing applause from the crowd - He steps through the ring ropes and stands in the direct center, his demeanor not changing one bit.

KB: Um... Honestly... I don't even know what to say... I'm not really thrilled at the fact that I was a human pin cushion for torture last week at the hands of Shane and his cronies, of which I now know their name as The Uprising. An uprising of what exactly? Will I ever find the answer? Most likely not, but you know what, I'm not even really upset at the beat-down, what I am upset though however is that I'm STILL jumping through hoops in order to get to the World Heavyweight Championship... It seems like no matter what it is that I do, I feel like I'll never be able to grasp it, and no matter the situation I'm faced with, I feel like I don't really belong here anymore...

Before Blaze could finish the light go out, causing a slight murmur through the crowd. "O Fortuna" begins to play, riling up the crowd. After a minute, everything goes silent. Suddenly, "In the Dark" by The Birthday Massacre kicks in, bringing the crowd in a frenzy. Out comes "American Gaijin" Mike Monroe and Tatum Regan. Mike is in his ring gear with his X title around his waist, while Tatum is in street clothes. They make their way into the ring. Mike motions to the ringside attendant for a microphone.

Mike: "What happened, Kyle? What is this pity party, feel sorry for me bullshit?"

KB goes to speak, but Mike stops him.

Mike: "Shut it, I'm not done yet. You are not the same person that I had my debut match with. What happened to the devil-may-care, win at all cost attitude you used to have? We used to tear down arenas all over the world as partners and opponents. But that person is not in front of me. All I see right now is someone who is better suited in a Krimzon Blaze look alike contest. And not a very good one."

KB looks at Mike for a second, before looking around the arena and then back at Mike.

KB: That devil-may-cry win at all cost attitude is still there Mike, it's just been deterred for an unknown length of time - And honestly, I have to ask, where were you when I was getting beat down by Shane and his goons last week? Why didn't ANYONE come and help me?! When I heard the news that CZW was on the comeback trail, who was the first person I called? I called you Mike... I haven't been the same since returning to CZW - Hell, I've been on a losing streak ONCE AGAIN since coming back, and I just don't understand where my head is at in the game anymore - I'm being attacked left and right, nobody seems to give two shits if I left and never came back anyway - So that is the dilemma I've been facing Mike, that is the dilemma that's been plaguing my mind since coming back. You, on the other hand, are the ONLY champion in this company at this current time - A championship that I'd love to have around my waist again, but as you know, we're always trying to outdo one another and get that World Heavyweight Championship that everyone clamors too.

KB looks around once again as a smile comes upon his face.

KB: But the more important thing here - Why are you out here?

Mike looks at KB without returning the smile.

Mike: "Cry me a damn river. What do you think would have happened if I went out there after what they did to you, huh? I would have been right there with you, strung up by my ankles. Plus after Brian and Kerosene going over to the dark side, who can I trust right now? Not a whole lot of people to be honest. Other than the woman standing right next to me, I can't think of many people. I hate to keep bringing it up, but after being in a coma, I had to reevaluate alot of things too. Should I come back to wrestling?"

Mike kinda smirks and pats the X title around his waist.

Mike: "I'm kinda glad I made the decision I did. But, I know you want a shot at this belt. Hell, right now I am the only champion, everyone should want a shot at the title. And you should know as well as anyone else, whenever I have held a title around my waist, I have welcomed any and all challengers. If you think you can take it from me, I welcome you to try."

The crowd gets excited at the possible chance of a title match between the two.

Mike: "But, I am going to give you an ultimatum right here and now. Either you keep bitching and moaning, and I walk away, and we become nothing more than possible opponents. Or... you grow a pair, wipe the tears away, and turn into the fighter you used to be and I know you can be. It's up to you."

KB steps up to Mike face-to-face

KB: Oh the pair i've got is fully grown and matured, it's just a matter of getting my head back in the game and keeping myself on my toes - But I know you didn't just come out here to trade insults with me.

KB looks over at Tatum and waves before turning his focus back to Mike.

KB: One day Mike, we'll be facing off for that title - But until then, I've got something else to say...

KB then turns his attention to the audience.

KB: Allyson Thorn...

*Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOO*

KB: I have to ask - What in the HOLY FUCK happened?! You align yourself with Ryan, Kerosene and Blaze? And for what?! You know what - I don't even give a FUCK anymore...

KB looks back over at Mike.

KB: You wanna reunite Tru Family Cru man?

*The crowd goes ELECTRIC with cheers and "TFC! TFC!" chants*

Mike just looks at Kyle with a knowing smile on his face.

Mike: "That's what I wanted to see! The passion, the fight, the fire inside of you, no pun intended. I knew you had it in you, you just needed it shown to you again. First off, don't worry about Allyson, that will be taken care of if need be."

Tatum gives Blaze a nod and wink, as the crowd starts a "HBIC" chant. After a moment, Mike raises his hand to silent the crowd.

Mike: "As for the propositon, I have only one question for you. What took you so long to ask?"

The crowd comes completely unglued at the Tru Family Cru reunion. KB and Mike hug each other, then KB and Tatum. Mike and Blaze scale the turnbuckles, posing for the crowd, with Tatum between them and "Blood Brothers" by Poppa Roach starts to play.

-=CZW RETURN AND DEBUT!=-
Jeremy Dart vs Jason X

***

“X Gonna Give it To Ya,” by DMX blares from the PA as Jason X comes out to almost no reaction from the crowd.

Daniels: This is the CZW debut of Jason X, and obviously the fans know nothing about him.

Masters: They don’t have to, look at him, he won’t be around long.

Daniels: You don’t know that William. He could surprise you.

Masters: Doubtful.

Once X gets to the ring, Smoke a Little Smoke by Eric Church fills the room and Jeremy Dart makes his way to the ring to a smattering of boos.

Masters: At least some of these fans know this man. He’ll make sure they all remember him after tonight.

Daniels: How do you even know that? We’ve never seen Jason X before, he could come out and be the best we’ve ever seen here.

Masters: Improbable.

With both men in the ring, the size difference is very obvious. The referee calls both men to the middle of the ring and gives them a few final instructions and sends them both back to their corners. The bell rings and Dart storms after X. The smaller man simply side steps Dart causing Jeremy to run, face first into the turnbuckle.

Daniels: What’d I tell you? Dart is already bleeding and X hasn’t even touched him.

X grabs Dart by the hair and brings him to his feet just long enough to set him up and execute a swinging neckbreaker. Dart lands hard and doesn’t move after impact.

Daniels: I think X can pin him now, he seems out!

Masters: He could, but he won’t.

X picks Dart up again and puts him right back down with an impact DDT.

Daniels: Huge impact on that one.

Masters: Indeed.

X covers Dart.

X forces Dart, who is completely out at this point, to raise a shoulder.

Masters: X isn’t finished with him just yet.

X picks him up once more and connects with a front-flip piledriver!

Daniels: I think he might be dead after that.

Masters: He calls that his “X-DRIVER.” This one is over.

X covers Dart, and the ref slides into position.

-=LAST CHANCE AND RETURN!=-
(If Lee no-shows, he will be FIRED!)
"The Egoist" Mike King vs Sebastian Lee

***

“Welt” by A.M Conspiracy blasts on over the speakers to a wild ovation from the North Carolina crowd! Through the curtain walks Mike King, standing at the top of the small entrance ramp, taking it all in. He throws a single fist in the air and continues on his way to the ring.

Jessica Towers: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Buckeye, Arizona! He stands 5’ 11”, weighing in at 210lbs! He is “The Egoist”, MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!”

King makes his way to the ring steps and leaps up them without a glance, standing on the apron and looking out into the crowd who respond with a loud cheer!

Daniels: “The always exciting Mike King is in the house, Ladies and Gentlemen! Make sure you don’t blink too often, you may miss the lightning quick and perfectly executed technical arsenal “The Egoist”!”

Masters: “Despite his rather unruly appearance, Mike King is one of the best technical wrestlers and competitors CZW has ever seen, make no mistake about that. The young rookie Sebastian has his hands full tonight, Daniels.”

King raises his fists one more time as he enters the ring, hyping up the crowd just that much more before his music is stopped, and “Bad Company” by Fiver Finger Death Punch begins to play. The boos from the crowd are loud, but pretty unenergetic. Sebastian Lee enters through the curtain, his manager Barry Cronette at his side. Lee shrugs the reaction off and makes his way down to the ring.

Jessica Towers: “And his opponent, from Panama, Florida! Accompanied to the ring by Barry Cronette! Sebastiaaaaaaaaaaan Leeeeeeeeee!”

Daniels: “We go from one of our all-time top names to a newcomer who hasn’t exactly gotten off on the right foot, but a win against a man like Mike King would set him on the right path.”

Masters: “Lee has what it takes to be a star, but he lacks the drive. A win against King would change the opinions of the man, but some could say that he needs the win here tonight, and desperation is a bad mindset to be in when facing Mike King.”

Referee Jason Humel signals for the bell to be rang, and Sebastian takes one step before a charging Mike King damn near kicks his face off with a Metallica Kick!!! The crowd loses their minds as King breaks out the big guns so early in the match, laying out his opponent with a boot to the skull! Lee is out cold, but that’s not enough to satisfy King!

Daniels: “Look at this! King has Lee back up on his feet, and he has a cobra clutch locked in, the ref is checking if Lee is even alive at this time!”

Masters: “He won’t have enough time to judge, look at the way King unravels the hold, pulling Lee back with a short lariat! The Quiet Riot from King, and look Daniels, he still has a hold on his wrist!”

King shakes his head to the crowd, signaling that he is still not through with the arrogant Lee. He drags him up to his feet, hooking the arm between Lee’s legs and setting up a Pumphandle position, lifting him up and dropping him with a Michinoku Driver II, the Egoist Driver! He goes for the cover!

NO! King picks Lee up!

Daniels: “And still King says no! He wants to finish this in style! Do you think he’s taking Lee’s use of the ‘Bad Company’ song a little personal?”

Masters: “If all this is over a song, then I’d hate to see what the boy would do over an insult to his mum?!”

King rolls Sebastian over on his stomach, yelling out to the crowd if he should end him? The crowd replies with an emphatic yes! King hooks both of Lee’s arms, rolling through into the bridge and locking in the devastating St. Anger! He drags on both arms, Lee unable to struggle as he no longer has the strength to move! The ref lifts Lees arm, and it falls once! He does so again, and Lee’s arm falls again! One more to go, and the ref lifts the amr, but again Mike lets go of the hold, but not for long! He keeps a grasp on one arm, spinning on the ground and hooking in the omaplata, clasping his hands around the head of Lee and pulling back!

Daniels: “King just transferred St. Anger into St. Anger II! What a display!”

Masters: “Brilliant mat work from King, and this one is as good as finished.”

The ref finally gets the view he needs of Lee, lifting his arm once! It falls limp! He does so a second time, and it falls again! The ref lifts Lee’s arm one more time……………..and he’s out cold! The ref calls for the bell and this match is over! “Welt” blares back over the speakers as King lets go of the hold. Barry Cronette slides into the ring to check on his man! The ref raises King’s hand in victory much to the glee of the crowd!

Jessica Towers: “Here is your winner, MIKE KING!”

Daniels: “What a display by Mike King, and what a dominant victory!”

Masters: “An impressive showing, but I can’t help but think that this is the last we’ll see of Sebastian Lee.”

King exits the ring, slapping a few hands before making his way to the back, another victory added to his resume. With the match over, we cut to some advertisments.

***

(Just as the Overdrive cuts back from commercial Jenny Jacobs is seen standing backstage in front of a wall monitor with a house mike in her hand.)

Jenny: We have some footage that I would like to show all you from the Overdrive show a couple of weeks ago.

(with that Jenny turns towards the screen as the image of Timmons and Mtm talking after Tim’s last match and Timmons attacking Mtm out of nowhere and leaving him bleeding and on the locker room floor. As the camera fades back out Jenny is now standing beside Mtm who has a look of pure rage across his face after seeing the attack once again, Jenny attempts to clear her throat)

Jenny: Josh we just got done watching the man who you thought had your back for all these years brutally attack you after you tried to calm him down. What exactly are you feeling about this and what is next for you and Timmons?

Mtm: (draws in deep breath before talking) my feelings really, what the fuck do you care about my feelings you stupid broad. (Mtm grabs the mike from Jenny’s outstretched hand and shoves her to one side, taking up most of the camera view.) I’m gonna make this real quick and simple there are no feelings in me when it comes to Tim Timmons, to me Timmons is like a infected appendage and the only way to get rid of it is to cut it off. After what he did he needs to count his blessings that he can still breathe and is walking. Yes he left me laying on the floor bleeding and broken but I will dam well guarantee that once I get my hands on him he will realize that he made the biggest mistake in his life.

(With that Mtm show a massive toothy grin as the camera fades back out.)

-=KING OF COMBAT QUARTER-FINALS!=-
"The Flagship Player" Dusty Davis vs. "The Enigma" Jacob Havok

***

Daniels: “It’s been a wild night so far here in North Carolina, and the action continues right now! Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the first of our King of Combat Quarter-Final matches tonight! ”

Masters: “Two CZW originals are set to face each other for the chance to become the World Champion. I cannot think of a more illustrious competition.”

Daniels: “You’re so right, William! The CZW World Championship has been held by the best of the best, and the man who emerges from the King of Combat as the victor will have no problem standing amongst those names.”

“Sorry You’re Not A Winner” by Enter Shikari brings the crowd alive with a wave of boos! Jacob Havok enters from behind the curtain with a look of determination. He passes a couple glances between the two sides of the ramp, and then walks with intent down to the ring. His black jacket he wears sways with every step.

Jessica Towers: “The Following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a Quarter-Final match in the King of Combat tournament! Introducing first, from Washington, D.C.! He stands 5’7”, weighing in at 172lbs, he is “The Enigma”, Jacooooooooooooooooob Havooooooooooooooooooooook!”

Daniels: “An undying spirit is Jacob Havok, and I’m sure he plans on using that seemingly endless endurance to move on to the semi-finals of the KoC.”

Masters: “Say what you will about his means, but Jacob Havok is a dangerous man. Ultraviolent Rules or not, this match will be a battle for anyone unlucky enough to face Havok. Let’s hope Dusty Davis has a plan in store, or he may find himself hitting his Pain Barrier.”

Havok climbs the steps onto the apron and then up the turnbuckle, placing his foot on the top rope and extending his arms outward in a display to the crowd. They meet him with a negative reaction, a small group of teens in the front row going so far as to stand up and point at Havok as they do so. Havok leaps into the ring and removes his coat, throwing it out of the ring. He turns back to the ramp, ready for anything.

“Like a Dead Pixels” by LukHash cuts off Havok’s music and brings the crowd to their feet! They await the entrance of Dusty Davis, a small ‘Dusty!’ chant breaking out.

Jessica Towers: “His opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts! He stands 6’2”, weighing in at 244lbs! He is “The Flagship Player”, Dustyyyyyyyyyy Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavis!”

While his music does continue to play, there is no sign of Dusty Davis. After a few more seconds of playing, the music stops. The crowd looks between themselves in confusion, wondering what’s going on. Daniels attempts to laugh it off.

Daniels: “Hehe, well, looks like Dusty didn’t get the cue to make his way to the ring? We’re having some communication issues, fans. I’m sure the match will begin shortly.”

Again, “like a Dead Pixels” begins to play, the crowd cheering with joy again, though not as much as the first time. Thirty seconds go by, and still Dusty has not made his entrance. The crowd again looks around in confusion, as does Jacob Havok. Not a single person in the room has an idea what is happening.

Daniels: “I’ll tell you what, William, this is strange.”

Masters: “Indeed. Dusty Davis is present here, tonight. I’ve seen him myself.”

Daniels: “Does anyone have word on Dusty?”

Suddenly, “After the Rain” by Rev Theory rips through the air, and the crowd loses all control. Hate shoots through the arena as the curtains part, and out from the back emerges Ryan Shane, Matt Covey, and a reluctant Cassidy Fontaine! Covey carries an unconscious man over his shoulder, and with the right angle we can see that it’s Dusty Davis! Ryan motions with his head to Covey, who tosses the bloodied Davis to the ground unceremoniously. With that, The Uprising makes their way down to the ring at a leisurely pace, Ms. Fontaine not moving at first, but sighing and following after.

Masters: “Ohoho! Something wicked this way comes, Daniels.”

Daniels: “William, weren’t you going on and on about how Ryan wasn’t a real man and what not when he no-showed the King of Combat match? You’ve changed your mind about this man every week!”

Masters: “It’s true that Ryan Shane may do things that I don’t agree with, but his words have spoken volumes to me, recently. There is a need for change in the CZW, and The Uprising are the harbingers of that change.”

Daniels: “Does change justify all of this violence?”

Masters: “There is no major change in this world without violence, Daniels.”

When the trio arrive at the side of the ring, Ryan motions up to Havok. Hebrings up four fingers on his right hand, and mouths the words “You’re the last one”! He removes his sunglasses and hands them to covey, then removes his red leather coat and hands it to Cassidy.

Daniels: “The……….last one? What does he mean by that?”

Masters: “Isn’t it obvious? He held up four fingers. Harper, King, Kirkland, and now Havok. Ryan’s killing two birds with one stone, as they say. He’s sending a message to Derek Damage and finishing off the last piece of Youthful Aggression! It’s been years and he still keeps the list!”

Ryan slides under the ring, but Havok is ready for him! Both men trade stiff right fists, back a forth, but this is Ryan’s specialty. He ducks a wild left from Havok, catching him with a left of his own and stumbling him back! The crowd goes wild! Their match may not be happening, but this is just as good! Ryan follows Havok to the ropes, dishing out rights and lefts to the ribs and shoulders as Havok covers up, each shot hitting with a sickening thud! Ryan rears back for a big strike, only to catch a palm strike in the chest from Havok! Ryan falls back, literally rolling and landing back on his knee. Havok sets up a shining wizard, only to have his leg caught and thrown in the opposite direction, Ryan leaping up to his feet and into the air with one motion and catching Havok with an Outside Heel Kick! Havok stumbles around in a daze, but recovers in time to land a high kick right to the head of Ryan!

Daniels: “What a kick! Ryan Shane is dazed! It looks like Havok is setting up for one more kick!”

Havok levels Ryan up, ready to kick his head right off of his shoulders! He waits for him to get to his feet, and throws the kick, but Ryan ducks! Ryan immediately signals to Covey who pulls something out of his pocket and throws it to Ryan!

Masters: “He’s got the bloody Railroad Spike!”

Havok turns around and wham! The tip of the spike catches him right in the forehead! The crowd sounds out with a loud “OH!” as Havok drops. Ryan takes a walk around the ring, shaking out the cob webs and throwing the spike to the ground. CZW Security attempts to make the save, but Matt Covey is not letting it happen! He drops guard after guard with brutal punches, keeping the ring clear for Ryan to finish the job! Ryan goes down to one knee, slamming the flat of his fist on the mat and screaming at Havok to get up! After a few more pounds, Havok does so, his face covered in streaks of blood! He turns as Ryan bounces off of the ropes, slamming his forearm into Havoks face with a crack!

Daniels: “Oh! Sublimation from Ryan! Someone has to stop this!”

Ryan stands up and claps his hands together as if he’s dusting them off, going to leave the ring, but he’s stopped!

Daniels: “William, do you see that?! Jacob Havok is grabbing Ryan’s pants! He’s pulling himself up, even after that sick Sublimation!”

Masters: “The determination of Havok is unprecedented! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man stand on his own power after a Sublimation!”

Ryan turns back to Havok, who struggles to get back to his feet but uses Ryan himself as a human railing, standing on his own two feet much to the pleasure of the crowd! Ryan shakes his head at him, yelling at him to stay down before baking up again, rebounding and landing a second Sublimation! Havok drops again, and Ryan rubs his face, firing a round at Havok from a finger gun taunt.

Daniels: “And sadly, that is that. One Sublimation is more than enough to put a man down, but two is just evil.”

Masters: “Ryan made the promise that this would happen, don’t forget that. He swore another would fall, and tonight he claimed two. I just think……….my god! Look!”

Ryan stops his exit from the ring again as he hears a yell behind him. He rolls his eyes, turning back to see Jacob Havok pulling himself to his feet using the ropes!

Masters: “My god……this man just doesn’t know when to stay down.”

Daniels: “I’m glad to see Havok still able to move, but right now is not the best time for him to try and fight!”

Ryan walks to the center of the ring just as Havok pushes himself off the ropes and at Ryan, grabbing him. He drags himself up, face full of blood, and actually smiles at Ryan! Ryan goes wide-eyed, only to recoil as Havok spits blood right in his face and laughs! Ryan slowly wipes the blood and saliva out of his eye, then turns back and roars at Havok, running off the ropes once more and smacking him with a third Sublimation! Ryan falls with him into a mount, connecting with more forearm smashes! Over and over Ryan brings the forearm down into Havok’s face, who tries to block them at first but eventually becomes helpless as his body goes limp. Ryan doesn’t stop, continuing to smash the unconscious Enigma in the face, shooting up after the twentieth or so and yelling out in sheer anger!

Daniels: “The brutality! The EMTs are trying to get to Havok, but Covey just won’t let them! It’s insanity out here! Now Ryan’s signaling to Cassidy for a set of chairs!”

Ryan yells to his personal assistant for the chairs, but at first, she doesn’t move. She even shakes her head no, yelling back that he’s had enough! Ryan grits his teeth, leaning between the top and middle rope and points at the chairs. Cassidy tries to argue, but a booming ‘NOW!’ sends her on her way. As she goes to fetch Ryan’s weapons, Ryan goes back to the limp Havok, dragging him up by his hair! He yells in his face again, turning Havok around and picking him up in the torture rack positiong. He runs, leaping into the air!

Masters: “The Murder Scene! That is one of the most devastating finishing maneuvers in the world. ”

Daniels: “This is too much, the man needs help!”

Ryan rolls out of the ring and rips the chairs out of Cassidy’s hands, throwing them into the ring before sliding back in himself. He unfolds one chair and sets it up in the corner of the ring, a loud boo and cry for help coming from the crowd as they know what is about to happen. He drags Havok to the corner, placing his head on the seat through the back of the chair, the blood from his head wound already beginning to pool on the steel. Ryan takes the other chair and climbs up to the second rope, stalling, before stepping up one more to the top! He surveys the arena, lifting the chair up higher over his head and jumping off, bringing it down onto Havok’s head with a smack! Ryan yells to Covey and rolls out of the ring. Covey simply moves, letting the Security and EMTs through. A stretcher is run down to the ring, a team of medical staff attending to the critically damaged Havok. Ryan motions to one of the camera, showing off the bloody chair to the world, yelling ‘He could’ve stopped this!’

Daniels: “Oh…..my…..Ladies and Gentlemen, I…….I don’t know what to say. Can we just cut to a commercial?”

Ryan raises the chair up over his head, Covey and Cassidy following him to the back. Covey stand stall with Ryan, but a piercing look of guilt hits Cassidy right in the heart. The crowd is lulled to a shocked silence before the feed is cut, and some advertisements begin to play.

***

Mike King is shown sitting on a bench outside of the Greensboro Coliseum. He has a smirking about his victory.

King: You see my match when I disposed of Sebastian Lee and took my name and image? I did what I said I would do. I succeeded just like I will with my purpose here in CZW.

King's smile disappears.

King: See I want to reclaim glory to the tag team titles. I know there are a few teams out there both of whom are guys trying to relive glory days. the type of people I have issue with. My personal interest is to rebuild the wrestling industry. It has been on its ass for years because of people like Mike Monroe, Krimzon Blaze, Eddie Rowan, Ryan Shane, Matt Covey, Brian Blaze and Buck Evans who will not step down and move on when their time is up. I did this. This is why I wrestled in Japan and Mexico, I was used a wrestler who can build up other talents and I want to do this now.

King stands up and he is angry.

King: I will purge CZW of the past and rebuild it so that we can see the explosion of new talent that the fans deserve. Don't get me wrong there is nothing with a nostalgia trip but the problem is you have some people that are glory hogs about it. I am here to get rid of them so the new talent do not have to deal with the glass ceiling I did in here. I hi the Intercontinental title and I can go no further. I don't want the new blood of CZW, the blood that will keep the promotion going for years to come to deal with the strife I did. At next week's Overdrive I will introduce the future to you and confront the past.tru Family Cru, I want to see your politicing asses in the ring.

King turns around and sits back down on the bench as the scene ends.

-=CZW WOMEN'S ACTION!=-
Sahara vs. "The Dark Kiss" Allyson Thorn w/ Ryan Shane

***

::Jessica Towers:: “Ladies and gentlemen; the following match is scheduled for one fall!!”

(“When I Grow Up” By Garbage begins to play loudly throughout the Greensboro Coliseum..)

::Jessica Towers:: “Introducing first, from Nevada City, California; standing at 5’6” and weighing in at 150 pounds…SAHARA!!!!”

(The young, red-headed firecracker Sahara walks briskly down the CZW ring-entrance ramp after her name is announced by Jessica Towers, waving to the crowd on the way down. An appreciative North Carolina crowd cheers loudly for the lovable Sahara. As she gets down to the ring, she blows a kiss towards the announcers table before crawling in the ring…)

::Jarred Daniels:: “What a beauty. Sahara can blow a kiss in my direction any day!!”

::William Masters:: “Calm down, Daniels; that was clearly directed towards me.”

(Sahara is now in the ring, climbing each respective turnbuckle while continuing to wave to the crowd, which is still cheering quite loudly for her. She seems to be enjoying herself until her music is cut off abruptly and “The Good Life” by Three Days Grace begins to play loudly throughout the arena…)

::William Masters:: “Here it is, Daniels; the moment we have all been waiting for!! Allyson Thorn, arguably the most successful Women’s competitor in the HISTORY of CZW has returned to the fold after a 4-year hiatus!!”

::Jarred Daniels:: “That’s right, William. Allyson’s return has been one of the highest-trending stories on CZW’s website ever since it was announced, and there is no question as to why. She is, no doubt, a living legend in not only Women’s competition, but the entire wrestling world in general. Sahara most certainly has her work cut out for her.”

(“The Good Life” continues to play throughout the arena as Jessica Tower’s voice rings out on the P.A. system above the music…)

::Jessica Towers:: “Now making her way to the ring, accompanied by Ryan Shane; from Memphis, Tennessee; standing at 5’7” and weighing in at 145lbs; “The Dark Kiss” ALLYSON THORN!!!!”

(The crowd actually goes insane for Thorn at the announcement of her name, quite a surprise for a competitor who generally finds herself welcomed by a luke-warm reception. Not even the accompaniment of one of the most hated men in the CZW, Ryan Shane, keeps the crowd from cheering loudly for Allyson Thorn. The viewer can easily see she is shocked by the reception. As she stands at the top of the entrance ramp, she brings her hands to her lips and blows a kiss towards the crowd, simultaneously mouthing the words “thank you”. She then switches her focus to Sahara, who stands alone at center ring, seemingly making mental preparations for Allyson Thorn’s arrival. Thorn and Shane make their way slowly down the ramp as Three Days Grace continues to belt from the arena’s P.A. system…)

::Jarred Daniels:: “It sure is great to see Allyson Thorn back competing in a CZW ring. I can only hope that Ryan Shane doesn’t do anything stupid to mar a victory, or to cause defeat. Allyson is fully capable of handling business herself.”

::William Masters:: “You say that, Daniels; but is she? Allyson Thorn has been out of competition for four years. That’s quite a long break. Just how capable will she be?”

::Jarred Daniels:: “I guess now is the time that we will find out…”

(Allyson Thorn climbs into the ring, now fully focused on Sahara as Sahara is on her. Ryan Shane makes his way to ringside, casting a look of superiority towards Masters and Daniels as he passes by the announcer’s table. Referee Jason Humel has a quick word with the ladies in the ring before signaling to Jessica Towers to ring the bell. She does, and the match gets underway…)

::William Masters:: “Time to see just what Allyson Thorn has in the tank!!”

(Sahara wastes no time going after Allyson Thorn, going for the big right-handed slap to the face of Thorn. However, “The Dark Kiss” isn’t about to let herself get fist-kissed across her pretty face. She grabs a shocked Sahara’s hand as it approaches her face, and in a show of strength, holds Sahara’s hand there in the middle of the air. Allyson brings a sinister grin across her face as the crowd goes wild. Thorn stares into the eyes of Sahara while she holds her arm helpless, Sahara now appears to have worry in her eyes as she returns the stare. Thorn then decides to go on the offensive; she hits Sahara with a kick to the midsection and then a DDT, sending Sahara to the ground. Allyson then pulls Sahara up quickly off of the mat by her hair. She throws Sahara running into the ropes, and meets her on her return with a standing Superkick!! Sahara is now left at center-ring, apparently out cold as the crowd goes wild!!)

::Jarred Daniels:: “I’m no expert, Masters, but Allyson Thorn appears to be as good, or better than I’ve ever seen her.”

::William Masters:: “I’ve got to agree with you, Jarred. This girl is determined; she’s out here to prove a point. She’s down-right scary right now…”

(“The Dark Kiss” climbs to the top turnbuckle as her ‘competition’ still lies in the center of the ring; motionless. As Thorn leaps from the top turnbuckle, the crowd goes wild…)

::Jarred Daniels:: “There it is, ‘Sunset on the Horizon’!! I thought I’d never see it again!!”

::William Masters:: “What a thing of beauty!! That should just about do it…”

(“The Dark Kiss” Allyson Thorn covers Sahara as Referee Jason Humel slides in for the easy 3-count. The crowd counts along with him…)

ALLYSON THORN PULLS HERSELF OFF OF SAHARA!!!!

(Referee Jason Humel is visibly upset at what Allyson Thorn has decided to do. He is shouting at her to cover Sahara for the pin once again, but Thorn refuses. She looks back at Ryan Shane who is standing in support outside of the ring. The two exchange smiles. Thorn then picks up a lifeless Sahara from the mat by her hair. It takes quite a bit of force to get Sahara to stand on her feet, but eventually Allyson does get her to a standing position. Sahara stands there, eyes in a daze, swaying effortlessly from side to side. Allyson Thorn then grabs the head of Sahara and pushes it downward towards herself. She then picks up Sahara and places her in the LETHAL DOSE!!!!)

::Jarred Daniels:: “Oh my God!! This is just too much!! Sahara is out of it!!!!!!”

::William Masters:: “Allyson is out there to make a statement, but Humel needs to call this match.”

(Allyson continues to apply the Lethal Dose, and after a few seconds, Humel calls to Jessica Towers for the bell. He can tell that Sahara is incapacitated, and will not be breaking the hold or even tapping out under her own power. She is lifeless, not moving at all under the power of Allyson Thorn. The bell rings as Humel pleads with Allyson to break the hold. She eventually does, releasing Sahara, who falls limp to the mat…)

::Jarred Daniels:: “Oh God, this doesn’t look good. Something is seriously wrong with Sahara. We need a medic to the ring immediately…”

(Humel is visibly pleading towards the backstage area for the assistance of medical staff to report to the ring. “The Good Life” by Three Days Grace is once again playing throughout the arena as an over-joyous Allyson Thorn and Ryan Shane make their way back up the entrance ramp and to the backstage area. They pass the CZW medical team rushing to the ring on their way backstage as the CZWonline cameras cut to commercial…)

-=KING OF COMBAT QUARTER-FINALS!=-
"Canada's Finest" Edward Croft vs "The Prophecy" Daniel Cain

***

“Invincible” plays and Edward Croft heads towards the ring to a respectable pop. He enters the ring and runs the ropes a bit, warming up for his match. “Sweet Sacrifice” blares out next and Daniel Cain calmly moves through the curtain, the fans cheering even louder. He heads to the ring and removes his robe, a calm and confident look on his face. The ref calls for the bell and this one is under way!

*DING DING!*

Croft and Cain circle the ring and lock up, with Cain quickly taking advantage with a side-headlock, immediately transitioning into a drop toe-hold. Cain quickly pops up and hits a dropkick right into a prone Croft’s temple! Croft rolls in pain and slowly stands while Cain measures him up. Croft turns and Cain hits a series of arm-drags, three in total. As Croft groggily rises from the third, Cain hits the ropes and takes him down again with a big leg-lariat!

Cain appeals to his fans who chear loudly as Croft rises once more. Cain rocks him back against the ropes with a series of knife-edge chops. He whips him to the far side and, on the rebound, connects with a big tilt-a-whirl backbreaker!!

Cain, with a sly grin, stands, pulling Croft to his feet, hooking him up and DRIVING him to the mat with the ‘NOSTRADAMUS!!’ Cain stands again, pointing towards the turnbuckle. Nodding his agreement with the loudly cheering fans, Cain springs up in the corner and connects with ‘the FALLING ANGEL!!’ The three count at this stage is academic.

*DING-DING-DING!*

The Disciples of Cain start a "Prophecy" chant as he is handed the microphone by Jessica Towers. His theme fades out to allow him to talk.

Cain: "As I rightly stated during my sermon, the Prophecy advances in the King of Combat Tournament. But that's not why I asked for the mic time, oh no. Now, you all know that me and dear ol' Bucky Evans have been having a bit of a disagreement lately, and I'm not quite sure why. So Buck, get your ass out here and let's talk."

An expectant silence fills the Greensboro Coliseum as all eyes turn to the entranceway, but no music starts.

Cain: "Come on Buck. You seem so keen to jump me from behind and cave my head in. Come out here, look me in the eyes and tell me why"

Still nothing. Paches of the crowd begin to boo Evans, and a few even break into "Fuck Buck" chants. Cain turns to the crowd and holds up his hands.

Cain: "Now come on guys, give the guy a break. Could be technical issues with the music. We'll give him one more chance. Buck, we're waiting."

The crowd heat rises as Buck still no-shows the callout. A road agent emerges through the curtain and whispers something in the ear of the Prophecy.

Cain: "Apparantly Buck hasn't turned up tonight, and isn't answering calls. Looks like no answers this week.. But this isn't over.. The Prophecy has spoken"

Cain drops the mic and rolls from the ring. The crowd giving out a lot of heat for the no-show. An annoyed Cain slaps hands with fans as he walks up the ramp, spinning at the top to pose for one last pop before walking to the back.

Daniels: "Appaling behaviour from Buck. Cain gave him fair warning and he still didn't turn up to explain his actions. Seems like a man running scared."

Masters: "Buck doesn't have to answer to anybody, especially a young scamp like Daniel Cain. That young man needs to learn respect for the men that helped build this company."

Daniels: "Normally I'd agree with you on that, but Cain has done nothing wrong. He's the victim in all this. He impressed and paid his dues in the CZW training school and earned his roster place. Buck too it upon himself to launch unprovoked attacks..."

-=CZW TAG-ACTION RETURNS=-
"The Spectacle" (Brian Blaze and Johnny Kerosene) w/ Ryan Shane vs "The Power" (Eddie G and Ben Zenith)

***

Daniels: "Tag team competition returns to Combat Zone Wrestling next as new boys 'The Power' take on two men that we know to be part of The Uprising faction, Brian Blaze and Johnny Kerosene, also known as 'The Spectacle'"

Masters: "This will be over within minutes. Mark my words."

-"Power" by Kanye West hits. A slight pop goes out for The Power as they walk through the curtains, working the crowd-

Towers: "The following is a tag team contest and is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, at a combined weight of 520lbs. From Los Angeles, California... They are Ben Zenith a-"

-Her introduction is cut off by a loud crunch. The crunch of a chair meeting the back of a skull. A chair in the hands of Brian Blaze meeting the skull of Ben Zenith.-

Daniels: "Jessica not even getting to introduce our first team to this match as the Spectacle attack their opponents from behind with a chair!"

Masters: "Within. Minutes."

-A confused Eddie G turns, right into a boot to the midsection from Johnny Kerosene. Johnny then whips Eddie into the ringsteps, causing him to collapse into a heap on the floor. Blaze delivers another chairshot to the fallen Zenith, before dropping the chair and sliding into the ring. Kerosene lifts Eddie and throws him under the bottom rope, sliding in after him. Blaze yells at the official to call for the bell, who nervously complies.

Eddie is slow to get to his feet, and when he does, immediately tastes the boot of Blaze in a sick kick that sends him backwards into a Kerosene full-nelson facebuster. Brian lays across one of the turnbuckles casually while Kerosene places his foot on the chest of Eddie.-

ONE.... TWO.... A HESITANT THREE!

Towers: "Your winners, Johnny Kerosene and Brian Blaze.. The Spectacle"

-The crowd are in a stunned silence. Those that aren't are giving the victors a lot of heat.-

Daniels: "A Tony Danza-Facemelter combination wins this for The Spectacle, but I'm lost for words. That pre-match attack was uncalled for and downright unsportsmanlike!"

Masters: "I said all along, it'd take a matter of minutes. It was clear all along that The Spectacle are THE team in CZW."

-=MAIN EVENT=-
KING OF COMBAT QUARTER-FINALS!
"American Gaijin" Mike Monroe vs "The Clown, The Killer, The Saint" Eddie Rowan

***

Daniels: It's main event time folks. Eddie Rowan versus The X-Division champion Mike Monroe in the King of Combat tournament. Will Monroe go one step closer to being a double champion? Or will Eddie Rowan be the man one step closer to the CZW World Title once more?

Masters: Will my partner shut up and let the introductions begin?

Daniels: Over to Jessica!

Towers: The following contest is a King of Combat Quarter Final and is scheduled for one fall... Introducing first, from Tiffin, Ohio... The CZW X-Division Champion... Mike Monroe!!!

The lights in the arena go dark. After a moment of silence, "O Fortuna" begins to play. After about 30 seconds, The music stops. Suddenly, "In The Dark" by The Birthday Massacre hits and the only lights are shining on the entrance. Out comes "American Gaijin" Mike Monroe with Tatum Regan close behind. Mike is wearing an ankle length hooded robe and an Oni mask. As Mike stands at the entrance the lights start to strobe in white and red. As they make there way down the ramp, Mike look all over, viewing the crowd. When he gets to the ring, he hops onto the apron, turns towards the crowd, and raises his head towards the ceiling. They both enter the ring, when Tatum grabs him by the front of his robe and pulls him right into her. With a sudden jerk, she pulls on the robe, which comes apart right down the middle. Mike then slides the Oni mask up, uncovering his face. He then brings his face to hers, foreheads touching. As the arena lights come on, Tatum removes the mask from Mike's head and playfully puts it on hers.

Towers: And his opponent. From Seattle, Washington... Eddie Rowan!!!

“Slip Side Melting” by For Love Not Lisa hits and the crowd go wild. Eddie walks out with a spring in his step, his friend Spencer Pierce accompanying him to the ring. They high-five fans as they head towards the ring and Eddie climbs up the steps before climbing in between the ropes.

Daniels: Who's your pick to win this one?

Masters: I cant choose between them. And by that, I mean I don't want to answer your stupid question.

Daniels: Okay Mr PMT... The official is checking and.. We are underway!

DING DING DING

Mike and Eddie extend their hands for a quick handshake, before circling, each man clapping and building the crowd. They charge in, locking up and struggling for dominance. Eddie gets it, slipping out into a wristlock. Mike is quick to counter, rolling through and taking a wristlock of his own. Eddie rolls to his back, nips up and takes control again, this time transitioning the wristlock into a hammerlock, and then on to a headlock.

The crowd pops slightly for the technical back-and-forth while Eddie works the hold. Mike drives an elbow into the midsection, followed by another and then forces Eddie back into the ropes before pushing him off. Rowan hits the far ropes, rebounding towards a far-too-telegraphed backbody drop. The error allows Eddie to deliver a kick to the chest and retake his headlock. Before he can lock it in fully, Mike pushes him to the ropes again, but this time his whip gets countered and it's Monroe that ends up launched away. However, he stops himself at the far side by grabbing the ropes, before dropping to send the charging Eddie out of the ring.

Not allowing any time to recover, Mike grabs the top rope and launches himself over the top and onto a rising Eddie with a slingshot crossbody. The two collapse at ringside and the official begins the count.

1..The two men clutch bodyparts they landed on.

-

-

-

2...Mike is first to rise, having been the aggressor. He throws up his arm to a pop, and Tatum claps along.

-

-

-

3...Eddie clutches the back of his head where he hit the railing, using his other arm to pull himself up on the same said railing.

-

-

-

4...Mike clears the chest, then delivers a hard chop to a loud “wooo” from the crowd.

-

-

-

5..A second, harder chop for a second louder “woo”. The official gives a warning to Mike to bring it back inside.

-

-

-

6..Monroe pulls his opponent forward by the head, flipping him and dumping him to the floor with a bodyslam.

-

-

-

7..Finally Mike picks Eddie up and rolls him under the bottom rope, rolling in afterwards and going for the cover.

EDDIE THROWS HIS SHOUDLER UP WITH FORCE!

Mike looks annoyed, but knows it was far too early for that to work properly. He grabs the raised arm, rolling Eddie over into a ground hammerlock. To add pressure, Monroe bridges himself over. Eddie kicks his legs wildly, screaming out, but refuses to quit. Knowing it won't be enough, Mike releases and gets to his feet, pulling up Eddie and whipping him to the corner. The follow-in charge is met by the boots of Rowan. Eddie looks to capitalise, grabbing the head as he climbs to the second rope and delivers a beautiful tornado DDT. He rolls through the impact, pulling Mike with him, and combos the move into a swinging neckbreaker. Crawling over he covers.

ONE... TWO.. MIKE KICKS OUT WITH AUTHORITY!

Eddie twist his body, trapping an arm and going for the ED-VICE (anaconda vice). Mike fights it and the pair battle across the canvas. Monroe gets his legs wrapped around the bottom rope and the official forces Ed to break it, which he does willingly. Rowan springs to his feet, and watches as Mike rises slowly. At half-up he steps in, shooting for the head, but Monroe slaps his hands away and leaps from his knees to nail an impressive Toe-Tagged (codebreaker).

Ed doesn't fall, instead he stumbles towards the middle of the ring. This allows Mike to scoop him up and plant him down with a Michinoku Driver, grabbing the leg and sitting on the chest.

ONE... TWO.... T-NO!

Eddie manages to kick out, pushing Monroe from his chest. The force sends Mike through the ropes, but he clings to the middle one and ends up on the apron. Eddie notices, and follows by rolling under the ropes. The pair begin to trade blows, the crowd cheering each shot as it lands. Harder and faster they chop, elbow, punch and forearm each other, until Mike ducks a wild swing and locks up for an exploder-type suplex. Sensing the danger Eddie reacts on instinct, dropping off the apron and falling with a reverse STO that puts his opponent face-first onto the hard ring apron. The impact bounces Mike to ringside too.

The referee dives from the ring, checking both men are still living after that brutal impact. Satisfied, he climbs back in and prepares to begin his count.

1..Nobody moving much. Both men are really hurting from the impact.

-

-

-

2..Eddie throws a hand onto the ring apron, hoisting himself up to a massive pop. A smile crosses his face.

-

-

-

3..He reaches down and starts raising Mike, who throws a couple of weak shots to the body. Nothing that a slap to the face doesn't stop.

-

-

-

4..With Mike dazed again, Eddie lifts him up in a crossbody position, before dropping him throat-first on the exposed metal guard rail.

-

-

-

5..Mike gasps for breath, hanging over the rail. Eddie spins him, and repays the earlier chops with a couple of his own.

-

-

-

6..Not content, Mike goes one better and plants a third chop.

-

-

-

7..He finally realises the count is going on... Putting in a forearm smash to the head for good measure.

-

-

-

8..

Eddie pushes Mike back under the ropes and climbs to the apron, breaking the count. He scans the crowd, then beats the top turnbuckle to signify something big. He climbs slowly, checking his balance before leaping into a 630 spin...

That crashes and burns!! Pain shoots up Eddie's tailbone as Mike Monroe rolls inwards and ends up under the turnbuckles! He climbs out onto the apron, hitting his feet. This time it's he who pats the turnbuckle, watching Rowan as he rises. The second Eddie is standing Mike leaps... Landing facing outwards... Then leaps again planting a tornado DDT to complete his finishing move... The Shock Trauma!!

EDDIE COUNTERS!! Rowan spins with the DDT, but instead of being dropped on his head, he drops to a knee, connecting with an inverted atomic drop! He instantly springs up and connects with a shining wizard afterwards, his patented combination move! A little dazed he scrambles to cover..

ONE...

THREE!!!!

NO!!

Monroe kicks out at the LAST second!

Frustrated, Eddie stands and measures Mike up, waiting for him to rise, keeping himself positioned behind him. Rowan hits the ropes and charges in, leaping over Mike’s back with the ENDGAME!!

-

-

-

MONROE COUNTERS!! Eddie lands hard on his head and neck as Mike immediately breaks the headscissors, shoving Rowan off and using his own momentum against him! Eddie dazedly gets to his feet, turning around right into Mike Monroe…

BURN NOTICE! LOCKED IN RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!!

HALFWAY THERE!! MONROE WRENCHES BACK EVEN HARDER, SCREAMING!

EDDIE TAPS!! EDDIE TAPS!!

DING DING DING

Towers: Your winner... Mike Monroe!!

Daniels: What a contest. These two men gave it their all and it's Mike Monroe that walks away victorious.

Masters: Sod that. Can I get me a piece of Tatum?

Monroe’s music blares through the arena as the fans cheer loudly for the contest. Tatum and Spencer head into the ring to check on them, helping them to their feet. Monroe and Eddie glare at each other in pain before simultaneously breaking into grins. They share a quick hug before Eddie raises Mike’s hand in victory, and Overdrive comes to a close to the roaring chant of CZW. Or does it?

The feed begins to distort, the sights and sounds of the main event cutting away to white noise, before a grayscale video feed takes over. A heavy film grain bounces the footage around and places black lines through the screen. The only sight on the light gray background is the smirking face of Ryan Shane. He chuckles lightly, amused at the power he has over the situation.

Ryan: “You can’t beat me, Derek. There’s no place I can’t be, no means I won’t go to. You can go on being silent about the situation, but that’s no fun. Let’s see if you can work up something to say now.”

Static takes over again, but clears up quickly back to Ryan.

Ryan: “I keep saying you had a chance to stop the violence before it began. I bet you thought I was just all talk. CZW………I give you proof.”

The footage cuts to a small handheld camera. The only source of light is from an opening from the bag it is contained in. A light breeze goes by, as well as a few cars. The sound of steel chairs sliding across the concrete are caught, as well as the clanking of a glass on a table. By process of elimination one can determine that we are at an outdoor eating establishment of some kind. A voice speaks out, but we are unable to see any faces because of the angle the camera looks out of the bag. It is obviously Ryan’s voice.

Ryan: “I was starting to worry you were going to hide from me forever.”

There is a long pause after Ryan speaks, the camera recording dead air for a few passing seconds. Finally, another male voice speaks. The tone gives no chance for a mistake, it is undoubtedly Derek Damage!

Damage: “What do you want? Money? A title shot? What is this all about?”

Ryan: “No, no Derek I don’t want any of those things. I want justice. I want to see CZW rise up to the level it should have never left, and with you at the helm, that won’t happen. I’ve called you here to give you an ultimatum. Either you step down and surrender the position as CEO of CZW………..or I’ll dismantle your company piece by piece. Here’s your chance to stop this before it begins.”

There is another long pause, the viewers on edge at home, waiting to hear what Damage has to say. They hear it alright, but not from the video clip! Derek Damage storms out with a microphone, yelling as loud as he can to the production team.

Damage: “SHUT IT OFF! SHUT IT THE HELL OFF!”

Before the video can continue to play, the crew cuts it off, returning the feed to the ring! Derek scrambles back and forth, yelling off-screen. It’s sheer chaos as Overdrive comes to an end, the last shot we see being the nervous wreck that is Derek Damage, sweat forming on his face.
