HIGHLIGHT SHOW

***

* cZw! *

The show opens up to a studio set with the CZW logo prominently displayed in the background. Overdrive announcers Jarred Daniels and William Masters sit onstage behind a desk decorated with the Overdrive logo.

Daniels: “Hello again, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to a special ‘highlight’ episode of Overdrive. Summer Showdown was an incredibly successful pay-per-view, but it also had unprecedented collateral damage. Most of the superstars left the arena with some sort of injury or another, and several had to be taken out by ambulance.”

Masters: “That’s right, Jarred. And none of them warrant a mention compared to our very own General Manager, Jesse Montana! Jesse was maliciously pushed from the top of the Combat-tron by his nemesis Karl Jackson. If there is any silver lining to be seen here, it’s that Jackson ALSO fell, and to be honest, it serves him right!”

Daniels: “Also suffering a sidelining injury at Summer Showdown was until-then CZW World Heavyweight Champion Ace King. Ace suffered a long fall from the top of the high scaffolding in the Ultimate X Chamber courtesy of, ironically enough, KING.”

Masters: “KING didn’t take home the gold but he may have found something just as sweet; the honor of eliminating Ace King once and for all!”

Daniels: “Alan Fiscus and Eddie Rowan battled eachother in a grueling match as well, and neither man would walk away from the Three Levels of Pain on his own after the final spill, which saw both men crashing through the Spanish announce table courtesy of a Fiscus ‘Overthrow.’ All five of these competitors are being well taken-care of and we will have updates on their conditions next week. Moving forward to Fade 2 Black, we have three new champions in Cage Stryker, El Pablo, and Krimzon Blaze. You can bet that these men will be defending at our next big pay-per-view, looking to retain their gold. However, for some of them, that is only one of many problems arising as of late. El Pablo ran into a little bit of what we’re talking about earlier on…”

EL Pablo just arrived at the arena and it seems as he was walking in Ruthless Aggression was standing right there on the side. He walked past her as she smirks a bit.

Ruthann: Congrats goes to you.

He stop in his tracks as he looked right over at her shaking his head with his newly won title across his right shoulder as he looked over at her.

EP: Oh, you again? What do you want now?

She just laughs as she push herself off the wall as she walked over to him walking around him a bit as she starts to play with his ears it seems a bit.

Ruthann: What’s wrong Mickey Mouse? You couldn’t play with Ace’s balls this week.

El pushes her away a bit from her away gently as she place his hand on his hip.

EP: Ha.. Funny. No, that's not it, although obviously someone needs to step up and take your place. You know, since you decided to start being the official teabagger of Team Brokeback and all. Still, I can't say I'm disappointed. In fact, since you rode off into the sunset, things have been going pretty damn well for Team XTC.. So maybe you should make this a permanent thing and uh.. get to steppin'.

She gives him a hand as she just has this hard look on her face folding her arm.

Ruthann: Right now your all are seems to be on top. You becoming the new CZW Intercontinental Champion and then Blaze becoming the X Division champion but we all know with him he will lose it next week. But your guys really did lose the most important title which is CZW Heavyweight Champion title. Right now, I believe Ace like always when he loses the big matches of his career doesn’t know rather he should come. Doesn’t know rather he should just leave or maybe believe he f**king shit. You have to face fact about your little group. Your all are on the high spot right now but things will change for your all soon. Just watch and see. I will sit back and just laughs as everything goes down.

She blow El Pablo a kiss as he growls a bit as she grin biting her bottom lip.

Ruthann: I see you around sweetie.

She walked away from him as he stood there not happy at all as she walked away from him.

We return to the booth to see Daniels shaking his head and Masters laughing at Pablo’s expense. Masters: “That’s hi-fricking-larious.”

Daniels: “Moving on… About three weeks ago two of CZW’s veteran superstars returned joining forces with. Tim Timmons and his stable, The Next Generation.”

Masters: “Caleb Walker and Impaler, they call themselves The Next Generation Hitmen, returned making a huge impact on the tag team division by taking out Brian Blaze and El Pablo. These two have shown they mean business.”

Daniels: “You’re not kidding this past week at Summer Showdown they made good on a promise to start taking out tag teams by endangering the careers of both of the Kaiju Warriors, “Godzilla“ Sawyer and Kong. Now both of these two competitors future in this business is in question and before we show you why I wanted to interview both Caleb Walker and Impaler.”

(The scene cuts to Impaler and Caleb Walker dressed again in their three piece suits sitting at what appears to be a booth at an Italian Restaurant, a plate of pasta with a couple meatballs about the size of a fist sits in front of both men.)

Daniels: “Impaler and Mr. Walker you two have been on a tear trying to take out two of CZW’s biggest tag team names and joining forces with The Next Generation. First question, why join forces with The Next Generation?”

Caleb: “Well it’s about dollars and cents you see until someone is going to pay us to do their dirty work we are contracted by money to the Next Generation.”

Impaler: “We are problem solvers Jared simply put we are paid to solve any of The Next Generation’s problems be it that they come from Alan Fiscus, Jesse Montana, and the list goes on. We’re paid to wrestle by CZW and as long as Tim keeps us rolling in the cash we’re paid to take care of Next Generation problems. So when Tim has a problem all he needs to do is look to us and we will be there. Until then we have targeted the tag team division and we started with El Fuego and then the Kaiju Warriors. You may criticize us Jared but we are thinking outside the box here.”

Daniels: “I say you’re splitting hairs I think that you two are just a couple of bullies who haven’t had a chance to be put in your…”

. Impaler: “I am going to stop you right there J.D. we are not bullies we are businessmen and warriors. You already knew the businessmen part so let me break down the second part for you. We are warriors and that implies we are here fighting a war and yes we ambushed Blaze and Pablo and why, well all wars need a defining moment and we call that one hell of a defining moment don’t you. With Sawyer and Kong they saw us when they walked out of the building we were standing right outside the door as they came out, they just didn’t pay us any attention. In battle situations you need to be on your toes twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. This war is endless J.D. and what we did at the Summer Showdown was just another shot in our war to be at the top of the CZW tag team division. Now if you would excuse us our dinner’s getting cold.”

(With that the camera switches back to Jared Daniels and William Masters at the announce table.)

Daniels: “We have an interview with Sawyer and Kong on the way but first we want to show you all the footage of what happened last week at Summer Showdown and why the CZW Television Champion and his tag team partner Kong maybe out of commission again here in CZW. We warn you folks this footage is graphic in nature.”

Last Sunday at CZW Summer Showdown:
(We see “Godzilla” Sawyer and Kong walking out of the arena and to their already waiting rental car a very good looking Plymouth Town Car just outside the Bancorp South Arena.)

Sawyer: “Well another one in the books, let’s just toss our stuff in the car hopefully we can beat the traffic later.”

Kong: “Let’s not take too long I want to see the main event.”

(Sawyer tosses his duffle bag through the passenger window. Unexpectedly we hear an earsplitting gong like sound that causes Sawyer to snap his head up and look in the direction of the his Teammate as the camera jostles and shakes.)

Sawyer: “What the hell!”

(The camera now pulls back enough that we see Kong with a folding chair wrapped around his head, using the car to hold himself up, as Impaler and Caleb Walker his attackers dressed in suit and tie put the boots to him. Caleb’s attention however is quickly turned by “Godzilla’s” yelling. Caleb and Sawyer quickly lock horns trading lefts and rights. Kong begins to regain his composure but the steel folding chair wrapped around his head proves to be too big of target for Impaler to pass up as Impaler delivers a skull crushing Running Boot into the bottom the steel folding chair causing Kong’s head to be awkwardly wedged between the chair and trunk of the car. Kong crumbles to the ground, blood trickling from his mouth as Impaler retrieves the chair once again. Suddenly as we turn our focus to the background we realize that we just saw Caleb Walker drive Sawyer’s head all the way through the composite glass of the car’s rear passenger window shattering the tinted glass both outward and inward. Sawyer however displays guts both his guts and fortitude as he staggers out of the whole that he was created by both his cranium and his face, which is now dripping with blood as Impaler winds up the chair again this time using the reverse side he delivers a skull rattling chair blast which sounds more like the shot from a gun as Sawyer this time drops like a stone. Impaler gestures to Caleb who rushes off screen but only for a moment as comes back carrying a cinderblock.)

Impaler: (Calmly but with the slightest hint of malice in his voice.) “You know what to do.”

(Caleb sets the cinderblock under Sawyer’s right arm holding it down by the wrist as Impaler winds up using the seated side of the chair and after what seems like an eternity delivers a chair shot across the forearm and elbow of Sawyer who upon feeling the pain shoot through his body is revived screaming in pain. Impaler than follows it up with another quick shot, than another, and another, and as he winds up to deliver a forth and what most likely could have been a career ending blast CZW Officials, referees and Trainers rush out from the back and pull Caleb off Sawyer and a referee stands in front of Impaler.)

Impaler: (Coldly.) “That’s alright I think we’ve proven our point.”

Caleb: (Directed at the referee standing in front of Impaler.) “Your lucky it’s him and not me, I don’t waste my wind up.”

(Impaler and Caleb straighten their ties and walk out of the arena. As the camera now focuses on the carnage left on the concrete floor of the Bancorp South Arena. As we witness Kong lying in a small pool of blood that has formed under his cheek and Sawyer curled into the fetal position writhing in pain.)

Sawyer: (Pain evident in his voice and almost frantic.) My arm, my &*%$ing if that bastard broke my arm I swear to god I will break him!

We come back to a small teaser for CZW Fade 2 Black, highlighting several CZW superstars including Shrapnel, Mr. Kiljoy, Krimzon Blaze, Rob Wright, and Cage Stryker. Following the spot, we see CZW reporter Ryan Lewis standing by backstage.

Ryan Lewis: “We’re back to this special edition of CZW Overdrive. The next match will be joined in progress as we introduce Awesome Shawn Duncan, our newest hopeful and perhaps future superstar of Combat Zone, as he faces the 6’5”, 280 lb masked man calling himself The Bad Boy Brawler.”

The scene shifts to a ring in a smaller sports arena. There are maybe 1,000 fans in attendance, much smaller than a normal CZW card, and there is no giant screen or pyro livening things up. In the ring we have the relatively small Awesome Shawn against his much larger opponent. According to a time stamp, the match has already lasted about 8 minutes.

Brawler is punishing Shawn with a brutal bear hug, which he has kept on for over a minute. Shawn hadn’t really had a chance to show his acrobatic abilities but he could see that this big, strong man was beginning to tire. Brawler lets go, antagonizes the crowd, and then whips Shawn into the ropes for a clothesline. Shawn does a forward roll under the big wrestler’s meaty arm, surges back to his feet, hits the ropes, and bounces back at Bad Boy, hitting with a perfect clothesline. Not enough to put the bigger man down, Shawn hits the ropes and lands another dropkick, then hits the ropes a third time, nailing Brawler with a flying elbow smash that floors his opponent! Brawler does not stay down and Shawn slips out onto the ring apron, so when the Brawler turns toward him, Shawn catapults himself over the top rope and hits with a flying clothesline of his own. Intently he keeps up the pace, hoping to tire the big man out further. He pulls Brawler to his feet, whips him into the corner, and hits with a flying avalanche! The audience pops for the height Shawn got with his jump and the young man is surprised for just a second before he grabs Brawler and whips him all the way across the ring to the other corner. Shawn launches himself after his opponent, performing an in-ring flip as he executes a handspring elbow that The Great Muta made famous. Shawn the mounts the 2nd rope and calls out to the audience before beginning to punch his opponent, the crowd counting to ten with each fist fall. By the look on Duncan’s face, he’s beginning to get into the crowd response. Brawler pushes Shawn away and attempts a clothesline out of the corner, but Shawn neatly ducks the arm and then hits with a crisp enziguri kick to the back of his head. Bad Boy is stunned and Shawn launches himself up to the top rope, signaling that it’s time to finish Brawler off. Shawn launches as Brawler turns toward him, and is tucked into a picture perfect powerslam! ONE…TWO…THREE…and it’s over. The Bad Boy Brawler celebrates his sudden victory as a disappointed Shawn tries to catch the wind that was just knocked out of him.

The scene suddenly shifts to backstage as Shawn walks dejectedly toward the backstage. Waiting for him is a gentleman in a blue dress slacks and maroon button down shirt. “Hey, Shawn. Good work out there,” the man says.

Shawn notices the camera recording them and looks a little suspicious as he replies: “If you say so. There are supposed to be scouts for another promotion here, and I lost.”

“That you did,” the unknown man states, “but you looked really good while losing. My name is Johnny Rotted and I’m one of the agents you heard about. I wanted to know if you are willing to sit down and talk about joining our company?”

Shawn looks at Johnny for a long moment. “But…I lost. Why aren’t you asking Brawler?”

Johnny smiles and says, “Very astute question. You noticed how fluid his moves are, how practiced his demeanor is?” Shawn nods and Johnny continues, “Under a few names, that man has been wrestling for about 12 years. He’s a good powerhouse wrestler, but he’s at the limit of his ability. His best years are behind him. You, on the other hand, are a fresh new face who hasn’t even been around long enough to get used to the business. If you are this exciting now, wait until you’ve gotten used to it all. You’ve had some gymnastics training, haven’t you?”

“Yes,” Shawn replies, slightly dumbfounded.

“Kinda thought so,” Rotted told him, “You have a unique way of moving that reminds me of a gymnast. That will help you stand out. Do you have any moves that rely on that.”

“Several.”

“Good. I have a little office set up where we can discuss particulars.”

“By the way, Mr. Rotted…” Shawn began timidly.

“Johnny.”

“…Johnny, what company do you work for?”

Johnny, grins sheepishly and answers, “Oh! Sorry about that. I represent Combat Zone Wrestling.”

Shawn’s jaw drops and he whispers, “You mean I could be on Overdrive? On National TV?”

Johnny grins even more as he says, “International. Yup!”

Johnny whistles as he leads the young grappler toward the space set aside for them and the camera fades the scene out.

We return to the booth to see Masters and Daniels ready to continue the broadcast.

Daniels: “Well fans, we have a special presentation for you tonight. We will show you, IN IT’S ENTIRETY, the MAIN EVENT from Summer Showdown! That’s right, the Ultimate X Chamber from last week will be shown tonight, uninterrupted, on national television!”

Masters: “But first, we’ve been informed that next week on Overdrive, the CZW Global Tag-Team Championships will be defended in a four-way dance! Global Champions Idolized will be defending against rivals Total Mayhem and the Cut-Throat Thrillers, Razor and Blade, as well as representatives from the Next Generation, Rob Wright and KING!”

Daniels: “Should be an insane match-up to be sure! Two weeks ago, Kyle Riley and Blade faced off in singles competition. However, there was a little surprise in store for them both. Let’s take you back now.”

The scene shifts to Overdrive, two weeks ago.

Jarred: “Well, folks, our first match of the night is about to start but before we get to that, William, have you noticed the heightened security tonight?”

Masters: “I’m not sure I follow you.”

Jarred: “At a couple of the audience entrances there are some security personnel where they usually are not present. Big guys, too.”

Masters: “You’re right for one, Daniels. I wonder is the folks who run this zoo know something we don’t.”

For a moment, the camera focuses on a large, strong looking man in a security uniform complete with baton. He is wearing a security cap, dark sunglasses, and a head piece with a microphone near his mouth and we can’t see his face very well.

Jarred: “We’re ready for our first match tonight. Let’s go to our ring announcer, Jessica Towers.”

Jessica, in the ring: “Our opening event is a singles match scheduled for one fall. Coming first to the ring, hailing from Nashville Tennessee and weighing 235 lbs, one half of the tag team The Cut-Throat Thrillers...BLADE!”

Blade steps out onto the ramp as the song ‘One’ by Metallica begins to play. Blade has a sack he is carrying with him. He begins to walk to the ring but Head of Security Casey ‘Big Daddy’ Rogers stops him. We see him motioning to the bag and asking a question. Blade answers, and Casey shakes his head no.

Jarred: “There seems to be a problem. Let’s see if we can get a microphone up there.”

A page gets close and we can hear what the two are saying.

Blade: “What kind of crap is this?”

Casey: “Those razor blades aren’t sanctioned by CZW. Our basic matches have no DQ and no count-outs, but you can’t just bring what can be deadly weapons without clearance. You’ll have to leave them with me.”

For a moment, Blade looks like he will argue, but then he shove the bag at Rogers and continues to the ring.

Jessica: “And his opponent, one half of the current tag team champions Idolized, hailing from Hollywood, California and weighing 210 lbs...Kyle RILEY!”

As ‘Paralyzer’ plays over the sound system Riley and his valet Kristyl Marie make their way to the ring. Riley is psyched up and chatting with fans as he goes. Blade just stands in the ring and glares at his opponent. Riley is up in the ring as Towers leaves and the bell sounds.

Jarred: “Wyatt Lewis is the referee of this event as Kyle and Blade circle each other. There is the lock-up...and Riley pulls Blade in to a side headlock.”

Riley really cranks in the headlock but Blade slips backward, pulling Kyle’s arm with him and pushing it behind Kyle. Riley is stuck for a moment, then spins under, twisting Blade’s arm three times. The third time Blade flips and lands on his back, Riley dropping a leg on Blade’s arm and locking in an arm bar. Blade, the bigger and heavier man, turns himself over and leans forward, forcing Kyle’s shoulders down. As the ref counts to two, Riley is forced to release the hold or be pinned!

Jarred: “Nice bit of strategy from Blade!”

Masters: “Yeah, these Cut-Throats really know where they are in the ring at all times. Idolized are just lucky they still have the belts.”

Without any notice, the two large security men slowly make their way closer to the ring, a few steps at a time.

The contestants lock up again, and just as before, Kyle gets Blade in a side headlock.

Jarred: “Kyle Riley is giving Blade a ‘noogie’ to his head, twisting a knuckle right into his scalp! Blade pushes his way out of the hold...he is completely outraged!”

Masters: “That fool shouldn’t play around with Blade like that. If Blade gets too angry, things are going to get bad for Riley.”

Blade is beside himself, getting in Riley’s face. At the same height, they are nose to nose jawing at each other. In anger, Blade shoves Kyle back and Kyle responds with a standing dropkick that drops his nemesis.

Blade is up in an instant but so is Kyle, and the smaller man pushes Blade into the ropes and whips him across the ring and hits with another dropkick! Kyle stands Blade up, pulls him over with a snap mare, then hits a short dropkick to the back of Blade’s head! Kyle is in the ropes and goes for a flying splash, but Blade isn’t stunned and rolls out of the way, Kyle landing hard on his stomach. Blade is on his knees, shaking out the cobwebs, and then pounces on his prone opponent with an elbow drop. Blade stands and waits a moment as Kyle struggles to his feet, then Blade nails him with a vicious spinning heel kick! Kyle on his back, Blade goes to the top rope and flies, attempting a senton that misses as Riley gets out of the way! Blade lurches up but Kyle is right there, hopping up onto Blade’s shoulders and hitting a perfect hurricanrana! Not done, Kyle hits a sequence of three legdrops, then goes to the ring apron.

Masters: “Up and over, Kyle goes for a catapult flying legdrop!”

Jarred: “But no! Blade is out of the way! Wow, Masters, these two are really going for it here with neither one getting a serious advantage on the other.”

Masters: “You know, while I respect the toughness of the Cut-Throats, there is no team right now I’m just rooting for. Total Mayhem is missing in action and The Exiles gone, all I can hope is that someone in The Next Generation seriously goes for the tag belts.”

Jarred: “Wait a minute, William. Those security men are at ringside...they are getting in the ring.”

Masters: “Hey, speak of the devils!”

The large security men are in the ring tossing aside their hats, glasses and head-sets.

Jarred: “It’s TOTAL MAYHEM! Jakob and Ezra Mayhem are in the ring! Blade doesn’t see them and Kyle Riley is still on the mat!

In a moment, Total Mayhem has pounced on Kyle, lifting him up and blasting him with a double Russian legsweep. They both laugh as they back up, suggesting that Blade go for the pin. Blade is angry at the interference. He turns away to deal with Riley...and the Mayhem’s grab him! They whip Blade into the ropes and hit with a double clothesline. Then Jakob lifts Blade up on his shoulders as Ezra goes to the top rope.

Jarred: “Oh no!”

Ezra comes off the top, clotheslining Blade off the shoulders of his taller brother Jakob. Blade hits the mat hard. Jakob rolls him onto his back...then rolls the unconscious Kyle on top of him!

Jarred: “Oh my goodness! Total Mayhem has just put Kyle Riley into a pinning position. But why?”

Referee: “One...

Two...

THREE!

Jessica Towers: “Your...winner...Kyle Riley of Idolized!”

Even as she is speaking, Razor and Evan Tyler are sprinting to the ring to help their partners, but Total Mayhem are already gone, walking through and towering over the audience on their way out of the arena.

Jarred: “I just don’t get it. What just happened and why?”

Masters: “People like you will never get it, Daniels. Total Mayhem have been quiet for a few weeks. Tonight, they just wanted to make sure we knew they weren’t gone. It didn’t matter who was better between Blade and Kyle, Jakob and Ezra decided who won tonight and that is all.”

Jarred: “Well, its rotten. I wanted to see a great match tonight.”

We return to the desk again to Daniels and Masters.

Daniels: “This rivalry doesn’t seem to have an end in sight, and now all three teams will go at it once again, with the gold on the line!”

Masters: “AND they’ll have to contend with the REAL DEAL, pardon the pun, when Next Generation members KING and Rob Wright enter the fray as well!”

Daniels: “CZW tag-team action at its finest, ladies and gentlemen! That’s coming up next week in Columbus.”

Now it showing the office of TJ Boss as there seem to be a knock at the door. Allescha got up from her desk and open the door. She notice it was Ruthless as she just smirks as they both stare down at each other a bit.

Ruthless: I hope I didn’t hurt you too much last week.

Allescha smirks as she let her inside of the office as Ruthless walked inside of the office closing the door behind her as she walked over to Allescha desk sitting on it with smirks as she looked over at her.

Allescha: You didn’t hurt me too bad but maybe later I show you what real pain is.

Ruthless giggles as TJ Boss came walking out of his office as he watches between the woman.

TJ: Now now.. Your two can’t do anything without now remember.

They both just smiled over at him as Allescha sat down behind her desk as they looked over at TJ as he walked over to Ruthless with his hand inside of his pockets.

TJ: It seems last week you should how much of a great actress you are.

Allescha give her a hand as Ruthless stood up and took a bow in front of them.

Ruthless: I told you if you scratch my back I will. Jesse think he so smart for playing me like he has and think he will get away with it. He will learn for leaving me high and dry. It just right now I have a problem and it will become your problem if this it show up around here.

Allescha watches on as TJ folded his arm as he looked at Ruthless with this lost look.

TJ: What’s problem will that be?

Ruthless got up off the desk as she walked over behind Allescha as he watches on it seems in delight as she starts to run her hand in her hair as Allescha just seems to purr with soft giggles.

Ruthless: As long as Sirena has that title and believe she the champion. She will believe there actually a division around here. You have to take the title away from her. As long as she have that title around her waist. She will walked around here talking about the division that dead.

She kept on playing in Allescha hair a bit as laughs a bit listening.

TJ: I will think about what you are saying but I believe you two need to be seen in my office now.

Allescha smirks as she got up off from the desk as both ladies walked inside of his office closing the door behind them as it goes back to ringside, where ‘Rockstarr’ Tommy Sixx is set for action.

Jessica Towers: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.

“New Day” By Adelita’s Way plays over the PA., as walking from behind the curtain is “Rockstarr Tommy Sixx”.

Jessica Towers: Introducing first, hailing from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 224 pounds….He is ”Rockstarr” TOMMY SIXXXXX! And his opponent, in the ring, he hails from Frankfort, Kentucky…weighing 156 pounds, KID KAOS!

Ding…Ding

The bell rings, as Tommy reaches outside of the ring, asking for a microphone.

“Rockstarr” Tommy Sixx: This match, is dedicated to the CZW Ultraviolent Champion, Shrapnel. May God, have mercy on your soul, once I get my hands on you. This past Sunday, I made my CZW debut, victorious. And that shall continue tonight.

Sixx takes three steps forward, smirking at the young Kid Kaos in front of him. Tommy slaps Kaos across the face, sending him crashing to the mat.

Tommy has Kid Kaos by the throat...he hoists him up..and drops him straight across his knee!

Sixx calls that "Six Seconds In Heaven"!

He goes for the pin...

ONE...

TWO...

THREE!

Ding...ding

Tommy Sixx celebrates in the ring, as his arm is raised in victory. He motions around his waist, the shape of a belt, as he hold up the devil horns.

Our cameras fade out, as "New Day" by Adelita's Way plays again....

Daniels: “This Tommy Sixx is looking very impressive, and I believe that he’s sending the current Ultraviolent Champion a message! Will ‘the Rockstarr’ be pursuing Shrapnel’s gold? Only time will tell. Now, as promised, we will play for you the second installment of the Ultimate X Chamber!”

Masters: “FREE on national television! They’re still running re-plays of the PPV at this point!”

Daniels: “Just one more way of CZW showing appreciation for it’s fanbase. Ladies and gentlemen…UXC II!”

The screen slowly transitions to Bancorp South Arena, at the opening of the Chamber match-up.

Daniels: “Folks, before we get this match underway, I’d like to direct your attention to a very special guest here in the CZW VIP box! ‘Outlaw’ Buck Evans and his wife Karen have honored us with their presence this evening!”

The fans in attendance notice Buck on the tron and instantly begin to cheer. Noticing the cameras on him, Buck smirks and tips his hat.

Daniels: “You knew ‘the Outlaw’ couldn’t stay away with Summer Showdown taking place in his home state. He was one of the competitors in the first X Chamber, putting on the match of his career inside the hellish structure!”

Masters: “And he should’ve won instead of that jumping bean, Krimzon Blaze!”

Daniels: “He very nearly did. And now it looks as if the cage is being lowered!

All eyes are on the massive chamber as it is secured over the ring, the X Title belt hanging above the ring, and the World Heavyweight Title hanging on a second rigging even higher.

Daniels: “This is it, CZW. The moment we’ve been waiting for months…the second installment of the X Chamber!”

Masters: “What a night it has been, Daniels. Everything from the Ultraviolent WAR at the beginning of the show to Jesse Montana’s tragic fall…”

Daniels: “AND Karl Jackson’s…”

Masters: “But only Montana’s fall was TRAGIC, Daniels!”

Daniels: “You are just sick…anyway, the chamber is in place and now Jessica Towers is in the ring and ready to announce tonight’s competitors for both the CZW X Division and WORLD Heavyweight Championships!”

Towers: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s now time for the MAIN EVENT; CZW proudly presents…ULTIMATE X CHAMBER II!!”

The fans go completely nuts as the words hang in the air. Those cheers change to boos as “I Stand Alone” cranks out over the sound system, and Tim Timmons heads out onto the ramp.

Towers: “Introducing first, representing the Next Generation…’Canada’s Finest,’ TIM TIMMONS!!”

Timmons heads down to the ring, glaring at the fans. He steps into the ring, gazing up at the belts hanging high above the ring.

Daniels: “Tim Timmons earned a seventh spot in the chamber after pinning Cage Stryker at last week’s Overdrive, surprising quite a few people.”

Masters: “But nobody was more surprised than Cage Stryker himself! Timmons shut all of his critics up last week, and I expect him to do more of the same tonight!”

“The River” by Good Charlotte plays and out walks Mike Monroe, a sinister glint in his eye.

Towers: “Making his way to the ring, representing Team XTC, ‘the Misfit,’ MIKE MONROE!!”

Monroe stalks down to the ring, looking at the belts from the outside before he enters, staring a hole right through Tim Timmons.

Daniels: “Mike Monroe and Krimzon Blaze earned their spots in this match by defeating the Next Generation in tag-team action a couple weeks ago. And notice how Monroe hasn’t taken his eye off Timmons. He knows better than to let his guard down around him!”

Masters: “It’s a good thing, too, because otherwise, Timmons would likely have already dropped this back to a six-man contest by now!”

“Becoming the Bull” blares out and the fans continue to cheer as ‘the Reaper’ takes the stage.

Towers: “Introducing next, he is ‘the Reaper,’ BRIAN KIRKLAND!!”

Kirkland appeals to the fans on the stage and then jogs down to the ring, tagging hands and pumping up the crowd. He slides into the ring, looking back and forth to his opponents and then up at the hanging belts.

Daniels: “Brian Kirkland was voted in by the CZW fans by a huge margin.”

Masters: “For SOME reason.”

“No Rest for the Wicked” plays and the fans jeer as KING makes his way out onto the ramp, looking focused.

Towers: “And introducing next, representing the Next Generation….KING!!”

KING heads down to the ring slowly, sliding in under the ropes and standing next to his partner. Timmons and KING seem to begin discussing a plan of action.

Masters: “Now HERE is a man who deserved to be voted into the match!”

Daniels: “King was voted in as well, no doubt because, not only does he deserve the shot, but people would LOVE to see him and Brian Kirkland throw down! Keep in mind that Kirkland said he would not fight King, so we’ll see how this goes!”

The fans leap to their feet as “Headstrong plays out and Krimzon Blaze makes his way out onto the ramp.

Towers: “Introducing next, representing Team XTC, ‘the Aerial Specialist,’ KRIMZON BLAZE!!”

Blaze heads out to the ring almost as if he were shot from a cannon, diving under the ropes and coming up to a knee right below both titles, his eyes focused straight up at the dangling gold.

Daniels: “Krimzon Blaze won it ALL last year, and he arguably has the advantage going into this match-up! He’s looking to take home gold again this year!”

Masters: “Only to lose it next week…”

Daniels: “Oh, shut it!”

“The Pretender” plays and the fans remain cheering as Cage Stryker heads out onto the ramp, appealing to his cheering fans.

Towers: “Making his way to the ring, he is the CZW X-Division Champion, ‘High Definition,’ CAGE STRYKER!!”

Stryker heads to ringside, staring Timmons down before entering the ring.

Daniels: “Stryker heads into the chamber with the X Title, but he could be leaving with the World Heavyweight Title!”

Masters: “OR…in a more likely situation, NOTHING!!”

Daniels: “That is a possibility, yes.”

Finally, “Ace of Spades” cranks out and the fans’ reaction hits a fever pitch as Ace King slowly makes his way out through the curtain.

Towers: “And introducing the last participant…he is the current CZW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…representing Team XTC, ‘the Vegas Volcano,’…ACE….KING!!!”

Ace heads to the ring, taking his time and interacting with the fans at ringside. He finally enters the chamber and looks to each of his opponents in turn, standing defiant in the hellish structure.

Masters: “And so enters the last competitor and the one with the MOST to lose. His days of glory are OVER, Daniels! Mark my words!!”

Daniels: “That remains to be seen, but the deck is definitely stacked against ‘the Gambler’ in this match, I have to concur!”

The competitors spread out as Jessica Towers exits the ring. The door is closed and locked and finally…

*DING-DING!*

Daniels: “There’s the bell and the competitors positively EXPLODE into action!! Stryker spears Timmons to the ground, punching away at his head, but he is quickly knocked off by a HUGE knee-lift by King! Monroe tackles Kirkland into the corner and he is just positively unloading on him with a flurry of strikes! Ace and Blaze seem a little taken aback by Monroe’s aggression here!”

Masters: “Well, if he wants to win one of those titles, this is the kind of attitude he’s got to have! WOW! Blaze just took a right cross from Monroe!!”

Daniels: “It looked like KB was going to try to intervene on Kirkland’s behalf, but Monroe took his OWN partner down with that fierce punch to the kisser! Ace steps in and shoves Monroe and Kirkland takes the opportunity to take down ‘the Misfit’ with a quick bulldog!! On the other side, it’s King and Timmons double-teaming Cage Stryker. They grab the X Champion and…OH! FACE-FIRST into the steel mesh!!”

Masters: “The Next Generation are leaving their mark…right on Stryker’s face, HA! Timmons and King lift him back up now. We’ve got what looks to be a double suplex? NO! DOUBLE-BRAIN-BUSTER!! That was amazing! On the other side we’ve got Ace and Kirkland brawling, Ace taking control with a quick Russian leg sweep!”

Daniels: “Ace is up quickly and he hits the ropes, but Kirkland recovers and takes the champ down with a snap spine-buster! Monroe and Blaze seem to be going right after eachother, their partnership tossed out the window! Blaze throws Monroe into the corner and follows him in, Monroe tumbles out of the way and Blaze leaps up onto the top…WHISPER IN THE WIND CONNECTS!! Blaze gets to his feet but there’s KING with a boot to the gut…DOUBLE ARM DDT!! And on the near side of the cage, Timmons looks to be climbing the wall! OH! With great agility, Kirkland bounds off the top rope and clings to the cage right next to Timmons! He jabs him in the ribs and then connects with an elbow to the head! Kirkland grabs Timmons and…FALLING NECKBREAKER!! FROM THE SIDE OF THE CELL!!”

Masters: “Absolutely absurd! The bloody fool hurt himself on the landing as well! And now we have Ace and Mike King trading punches in the center of the ring, Ace with those knife-edge chops and King with fierce open-palm strikes…they’re just taking turns hitting eachother!!”

Daniels: “Blaze is back up and so is Stryker, who grabs Blaze and slams him face-first into the steel!! Cage off the ropes and he sends KB FLIPPING head over heels with a big clothesline!! Cage turns and sees Timmons getting up and he drives him against the cage with a big knee to the gut! Stryker now slamming the back of Timmons’ head against the cage, holding him by the hair! These two DESPISE one-another!!”

Masters: “You can bet they do, Daniels. Wait, now we have Kirkland trying to scale the cage! And Monroe on the other side!!”

Daniels: “Ace takes down King with a snap suplex and now he hits the ropes…JACKPOT!?!? NO!! KING ducks the shining wizard and quickly counters with an enziguri!! Cage now flings Timmons to the ground and turns around…MISSILE DROPKICK BY BLAZE!! Cage just crashed against the mesh and then to the floor!! Krimzon Blaze came off that top rope like a speeding bullet and he hit the bulls-eye right on Cage Stryker’s FACE!!”

Masters: “LOOK OUT! We’ve got Monroe and Kirkland on the first level of the X!!”

Daniels: “Kirkland and Monroe struggling against eachother on that scaffolding! ‘The Reaper’ with a series of blows staggers Monroe…KIRKLAND REACHING FOR THE BELT! NO! Mike with an elbow to the gut! Uppercut by Monroe and Kirkland falls onto his back, almost off the scaffold!! Monroe now reaching for the belt!! The X Title is in reach!!

-

-

-

-

-

Daniels: “HE’S GOT A GRIP ON IT!!”

-

-

-

-

-

Masters: “NO! Kirkland with a desperation tackle, knocking him down and….WHOA!!”

Daniels: “Kirkland and Monroe fall onto either side of the scaffold, both holding on with one hand!! And now they’re trading punches!!”

Masters: “Blaze and Ace are teaming up on KING now, the cheaters!”

Daniels: “You weren’t complaining when it was the Next Generation teaming up against Cage!!”

Masters: “It’s not the same thing!! Ace and Blaze with a…DOUBLE SIDE-EFFECT! And predictably, these idiot fans love it!”

Daniels: “CAGE STRYKER FROM THE TOP ROPE! HE SPEARS KIRKLAND!! Brian Kirkland was hanging by one hand from the scaffolding and Stryker speared him in mid air!! And he did it in HIGH DEFINITION!! Monroe now trying to pull himself back up onto the ramp. He does so but…THERE’S TIMMONS!! HOW DID HE GET UP THERE!?”

Masters: “Timmons is as stealthy as a ninja, Daniels! I saw him but I didn’t want to blow his cover by pointing him out to you!!”

Daniels: “Timmons has Monroe…he’s going to CHOKESLAM HIM OFF THE X!! NO! Monroe counters with a punch to the inside of Timmons’ elbow, causing him to drop him! Monroe with a quick backfist and…YAKUZA KICK!! TIMMONS FALLS!! TIMMONS FALLS!!”

Masters: “NOOOO!!! Oh, GOD what impact as Timmons crashes to the mat!! And he narrowly missed the others!!”

Daniels: “Monroe turns around, looks to the belt but…there’s Krimzon Blaze! Mike and Blaze lock stares and now…smiling? OH MY GAWD!! DOUBLE MOONSAULTS!! TRU FAMILY CREW HAVE JUST TAKEN EVERYONE OUT!!”

Masters: “INCLUDING THEMSELVES!!”

Crowd: “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!!”

Daniels: “What a mess of bodies. It looks like…yes, Cage is moving, as is Tim Timmons! Timmons only avoided being hit by those moonsaults because he was still down from that huge fall!!”

Masters: “He truly is ‘Canada’s Finest’ to take a fall like that and continue the match! And he’s right on Cage’s heels as he starts to scale the wall!!”

Daniels: “Cage onto the first level of the X, but Timmons is right behind him! Tim pulls Cage’s foot from under him, causing him to slip up a bit! Timmons now onto the platform as well and both men begin slugging it out! Back in the ring it looks like the World Champion is making his first climb up the side of the cage, and Blaze and Monroe are measuring up KING and Kirkland as they stand…TFC charges in but King and Kirkland duck...Monroe and Blaze turn and both are met with kicks to the midsection! Kirkland grabs Monroe…CRADLE SHOCK!!”

Masters: “KING KRASH ON BLAZE!! KING KRASH ON BLAZE!!”

Daniels: “And now it’s Kirkland and KING staring eachother down in the ring! The fans cheering to a fever pitch as the team formerly known as Youthful Aggression face-off…and they each turn and rush the cage, climbing the chamber on opposite sides!!”

Masters: “What!? King should’ve killed him!!”

Daniels: “Up on the top of the scaffolding, Cage has Timmons up…OH GOD!! COULD WE SEE THE STRYKER DRIVER!? NO! Timmons rolls off his back and lands on his feet behind Cage…spins him around…FIREMAN’S CARRY…NOOOOOO!!!”

Masters: “NO FUCKING WAY!!!”

Daniels: “CANADIAN DRIVER!!! FROM THE SCAFFOLD!!!! STRYKER AND TIMMONS CRASH TO THE RING BELOW!! GOOD LORD!!”

Masters: “ACE!! ACE HAS THE WORLD TITLE!!”

Daniels: “Ace King moving onto the top scaffolding but Kirkland and KING have followed him up!! All three of them slowly move in on the scaffold now. And now Monroe and Blaze are heading up the cage as well! Ace hits Mike King with a back elbow as he advances in, and then turns and NAILS KIRKLAND WITH THE FULL HOUSE!! KIRKLAND FALLS FROM THE SCAFFOLD!! OH, thank god!! He landed on the lower one!! Ace turns around but Mike King with a kick to the knee and ROCKS the champion with that BURNING ELBOW! KING measuring up the champion who is dazed….oh no…OH NO!!”

Masters: “YES!! SHINING METALLICA!!”

Daniels: “ACE FALLS!! ACE FALLS!! ACE KING FALLS FROM THE TOP SCAFFOLD ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE RING!!!! DEAR GOD!!!”

Masters: “MIKE KING CAN GET THE WORLD TITLE RIGHT HERE!! HE REACHES!!”

HE’S GOT IT!!!

-

-

-

-

-

Masters: “NO! DAMN YOU KRIMZON BLAZE!!”

Daniels: “BLAZE WITH A HURRICANRANA ON KING! BOTH MEN NARROWLY KEEP FROM FALLING OFF THE SCAFFOLD!!”

Masters: “Timmons is up somehow! I don’t even think HE knows how, but he’s making his way up yet again!!”

Daniels: “Signs of life from Stryker as well, though Ace King is still unmoving!! Monroe and Kirkland now battling it out right below the X Title! Mike ducks a Kirkland clothesline and moves behind…cobra clutch! Monroe sweeps the foot out from under him…BURN NOTICE!! BURN NOTICE ON THE SCAFFOLDING!!”

Masters: “Blaze and KING striking eachother just under the World Title! They know how important this is!! King has Blaze…REDLINE CRUSH!! NO! That squirmy jumping bean gets out of it somehow!! Blaze picks KING up in a rack!!”

Daniels: “BROKEN KODE!! BROKEN KODE!! KING is down! Blaze now up, he sees the gold and the fans here are chanting his name!! Meanwhile down below, Monroe releases the Burn Notice! He’s reaching for the belt but Kirkland trips him up!! Monroe looks enraged now as he gets up, pummeling Kirkland! ‘The Misfit’ takes a few steps back and lunges in with a YAKUZA KICK! Kirkland ducks! Monroe turns and ‘the Reaper’ catches him with a boot to the midsection! He’s got him…POWERBOMB!! MURDER 101!! KIRKLAND HAS THE ELEVATED CRAB LOCKED IN!! ON THE SCAFFOLDING!!!!”

Masters: “BLAZE MAY HAVE THE WORLD TITLE!!”

Daniels: “NO! TIM TIMMONS!! Timmons grabs Blaze in a choke from behind!! SO CLOSE!!”

Masters: “Tim Timmons is choking the life out of Blaze but…CAGE STRYKER!!”

Daniels: “STRYKER PUSHES THEM BOTH OFF!!”

Daniels: “Timmons crashes onto the scaffolding below!! BLAZE CATCHES THE X-TITLE BELT!! HE DROPS TO HIS FEET WITH THE BELT!! KRIMZON BLAZE IS THE NEW X-DIVISION CHAMPION!!! TWO YEARS IN A ROW!!”

Masters: “Look at his face!! He doesn’t even realize what just happened!! He was just trying to save himself!! AND LOOK!!”

Daniels: “Cage is all by himself on the top tier of the X!! He looks down as Krimzon Blaze holds his belt and now Cage looks up at the world title…

Daniels: “HE HAS IT!!”

*DING-DING-DING!!*

Towers: “Ladies and gentlemen, the match has concluded…your NEW CZW X DIVISION CHAMPION is ‘the Aerial Specialist,’ KRIMZON BLAZE!! And, presenting you NEW CZW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, ‘High Definition,’ CAGE STRYKER!!”

Daniels: “Cage Stryker and Krimzon Blaze celebrate their respective victories here tonight! Their opponents all wearing disappointed looks on their face but believe me when I say that neither man has ANYTHING to be ashamed of after that performance!”

Masters: “Rarely do I agree with you, Daniels, but this is one such occasion. ALL of these men put on the match of their lives here for the CZW fans!”

Daniels: “We’ve got medical staff checking on Ace King…the body count is high this evening, folks. Jesse Montana, Karl Jackson, Eddie Rowan, Alan Fiscus, and now Ace King as well. We’ll have an update on their conditions on CZW.com as soon as information is available. KRIMZON BLAZE is our NEW X Division Champion and CAGE STRYKER has secured himself the CZW WORLD Heavyweight Title! For William Masters and all of CZW, I’m Jarred Daniels. Thank you for joining us!”

The scene transitions as 'Ladies and Gentlemen' hits the PA and the scene re-opens in TJ Hix's Office. The door opens and The FN Boss TJ Hix enters with Allescha McVay.

Hix: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Tonight is a special night...some may even call it CzW UnPlugged. Here we are...only a week after the hellacious Summer Showdown. You all saw three brand new champions crowned...and someone's career had begun. What a show it was. Careers were made while some may have been broken.

Hix walks over to his cherry oak desk and takes a seat in his chair. Allescha hands him some papers before retiring back to her desk outside the doors.

Hix: So, tonight I'm bringing you a special edition of the 'Who's The FN Boss Show.' My name is TJ Hix, but you all know me better in the ring as Boss Hix. However, tonight, I'm stepping out of my typical role to bring you a very legit program. And just to prove it...allow me to bring out my guest. He is your new CzW World Champion!!

'The Pretender' plays as Cage Stryker enters the room with Sirena Starr. They take a moment to smile at the camera and wave to the fans before taking a seat on TJ's leather sofa beside his desk. Hix shakes both their hands.

Hix: Good evening Cage...Sirena. How are you all doin' this fine 4th of July?

Cage: Can't complain really. It's been a crazy week for her and I.

Sirena: Yeah, we've been lucky to get a bite to eat before crashing out. We've been runnin' ourselves to death this week.

Hix: Any particular reason?

Cage: Yeah, myself alongside Krimzon and Pablo have become CzW ambassadors of sorts. CzW Board Council has asked us as the new champions to go around to various places for meet and greets...autograph signing and such.

Sirena: Yeah, I've just been his...roadie...so to speak. Women's division suspended and such for the moment...don't have much else to do.

Hix: Hey yo, I understand your thoughts on that...I was just doin' what the Chairman told me too. Now, Cage...congratulations champ. You have now held 3 titles here in the CzW. You had a great run as TV Champion...then you would move on to become the revolutionizer of the X-Division...and now...here you sit...Cage Stryker, CzW World Heavyweight Champion.

Cage: You're tellin' me. Hell, I thought I still had a few months before they'd even consider me for the World Title. As far as I had known, Ultimate X was an X-division specialty...then Brian threw in the World title stipulation and I was blown away. So I found myself torn.

Hix: Torn. How so?

Cage: Well, as big an honor as it is to be a World Champion...as you well know...

Hix: Yeah, I've held a couple...heh heh.

Cage: Well, as big an honor as that is...I felt as though I could have done so much more to the division. Probably the greatest X-Division champion CzW has ever seen...even passed the proverbial torch down to me.

Hix: Well Cage...you definitely took the division to whole new levels...but why couldn't you do the same for the World division?

Cage: I don't know...the World just seems to have limitations...otherwise it starts taking away from the other titles.

Hix: Don't give me that shit...the World Division is what you make it. Besides, Buried at Sea...Tower of Power...7th Heaven...these are all match types I've seen the World Title defended in. Don't tell me it's limited.

Cage: Wow...you're right. I never have thought about it that way... Just like all the other titles...I just have to innovate new ways to defend them.

Hix: There ya go...dumbass.

Cage: Hey...I thought you were doing legit this time?

Hix: I am...and you're still a dumbass. Now moving on. So Cage...how does it feel to have lost the X-Title?

Cage: I was wondering when you were going to get to that. In all truth...I don't feel as though I lost the X-Title...I just handed it down to someone else just as worthy while I went for the top tier. Now, that isn't to take away from any of my opponents from the match...they were all hellacious athletes for that match...me and Krimzon...just got lucky.

Hix: You call that luck!? Hell, you had a bunch of rabid dogs trying to rip you apart in that ring and you call that lucky...! Damn you're an idiot.

Cage: I know what I was up against...everyone wanted the same thing in that ring. Krimzon and I were just the ones to pull it off in the end.

Hix: Damn your dense. Anyway...so Cage...what's your plans as the newly crowned champion?

Cage: Not real sure...though I'm going to strive to make guys like Ace King and Maynard O' Toole proud. I wanna make sure I'm not a joke of a champion. I want to show, I really did deserve this opportunity.

Hix: Alright, well Mr. Stryker...let's see what my next guest has to say about that. Put your hands together for The Reaper...Brian Kirkland.

'Becoming the Bull' blasts over the sound system.

Brian enters the room, dressed in a black shirt and jeans, he glances at the camera and cracks a smile before he takes his seat

Hix: Good evening Mr. Kirkland, how are you tonight?

BK:Could be better but I'm OK, I guess. Before we go any farther I've gotta do this. Brian gets up and walks in front of Cage and sticks his hand out, which Cage quickly shakes. Brian takes his seat again.

BK:Congratulations Cage, you deserve that championship....

Hix interrupts Brian

Hix: Congratulations? This guy just beat you in a match on Sunday for the biggest title in CZW and you're not even a little pissed off?

BK:Well if you'd let me make the point I came here to make you wouldn't even have to ask that. Now like I said, Cage you deserve that championship but in the back of my mind I can't help but to think that I deserve it a little bit more.

Cage looks as if he’s about to say something but Brian continues to speak

BK:I mean look at it from my point of view. I've been here over a year, without taking any large chunk time off, I've done everything I've been asked to do yet I never got close to a World title match, and when I finally get a shot it’s in some kind of 6 man free for all. But being the guy I am I roll with it, I give it my all in the match, I don't get taken out, hell I had Mike Monroe in Murder101 and he was about to pass out from the pain and while I'm doing that you just grab the belt, if it were any other match type I'd be the one with that championship right now and you'd be the one sitting here talking about what almost was. I feel I got screwed over a little.

Cage: Well that was the point of the match, to grab the title, we all knew that going in.

BK: Oh I know but it still doesn't sit right with me that we were both standing when you won that’s why I'm here tonight to ask you to set things right, I'm here to challenge you to a one on one match for the CZW world championship. What do you say, champ?

Headstrong by Trapt hits before Cage can say anything

As the music plays, a video appears on screen. The images rehash old wounds, culminating from Summer Showdown as Brian Kirkland and Cage Stryker look on from their seats inside the ring. The scene opens with mini clips of this past Pay-Per-View of Summer Showdown where all the clips culminate into one as the Ultimate X Chamber match erupts into mass chaos.

Voice-Over: Bodies were broken...

A close-up shot of Mike Monroe in pain as he's locked in the Murder 101 by Brian Kirkland.

Voice-Over: Lives were altered...

A close-up shot of Kirkland and KING with a VERY short reunion of Youthful Aggression appears as Kirkland and KING stare each other down before getting side-swiped by KB and MM.

Voice-Over: Tears were shed...

A close-up shot of Timmons appears as the match has ended.

Voice-Over: New champions have arisen from the dust...

A close-up side-by-side shot appears as KB holds up the X-Championship while Cage holds up the World Heavyweight Title.

Voice-Over: With the fallout of Ultimate X, what is next for the competitors in CZW? How will this sudden shift in the balance of power affect the CZW locker-room as a whole? With Cage Stryker as the new World Champion, will Ace seek vengeance? All these questions and more will be answered... featuring TJ Hix along with guest stars: New World Champion Cage Stryker, New X-Division Champion Krimzon Blaze, New Intercontinental Champion El Pablo, Mike Monroe, and whomever else TJ Hix deems worthy!

The combat-mini video stops as Headstrong keeps playing, and the First Ever 2-Time X-Division Champion Krimzon Blaze enters the room, with the X-Title around his waist.

Blaze: Now, before this actually goes any further, Cage... I want to let you know that my destiny hasn't been achieved yet when I actually win that championship that's around your waist... But as for now, if you haven't noticed, I became the X-Division Champion... Not by choice... But by sheer determination and will-power...

KB looks over at BK.

Blaze: You think that you got screwed? Hell, Timmons screwed me! He just had to choke me at the opportune moment so that I wouldn't become World Heavyweight Champion... Then I get overturned by Mr. Stryker over here and now I sit here as the first-ever 2-time X-Division Champion... Not that there's anything wrong with that, It’s just, I was setting my sights on that a little bit more... But, Its cool, I'm fine for pulling a record setting stint here in CZW... If anyone should be doubting themselves BK, its Tim Timmons and KING...

KB shifts around in his chair as puts the X-Title on his shoulder.

Blaze: So, I've said what I've wanted to say... Who else is coming out to join our little shindig?

Rebel Rebel by David Bowie starts playing, and “The Five Star Superstar” El Pablo steps into the room. Alongside his trademark mask, he wears a black t-shirt with “E.P.I.C” printed on the front in gold and silver letters. His new Intercontinental title belt lies over his shoulder, his hand holding it in place as he takes a seat next to his XTC compadre.

Hix: So.. what? Team XTC is too good for introductions?

El Pablo: Oh.. my bad. KB did the whole “surprise entrance” thing, so I thought that’s what we were going with. Sup boys?

Blaze: Peezy.

BK: Hi.

Cage: Hey Pabs.

Hix: Alright.. Well, anyway, greetings to you, Mr. Pablo.

El Pablo: Hi!

Hix: Now, like Cage and Krimzon Blaze here, you also became a champion at Summer Showdown, defeating Justin Marsham for the Intercontinental Championship. In doing so, you became the first superstar in CZW history to win the “Grand Slam”, that being the X-Title, the Tag Titles, the Intercontinental Title, and the World Heavyweight Championship. What’s your secret? I mean, how have you managed to achieve such vast success compared to the rest of the CZW roster?

El Pablo: Well, erm.. I guess I’m just.. way better than everyone else!

EP shrugs his shoulders, before laughing.

El Pablo: Nah, I dunno really. Well, I guess I’ve been here a lot longer than most people, so that probably helps. I think a lot of it comes down to my general attitude and outlook on life as well. I’m generally a very laid-back sort of person, you know? I take everything as it comes. When I’m out in the ring, I’m just out there to put on a show and enjoy myself, as opposed to people like, say, Tim Timmons, who put so much emphasis on being the best and winning the match or the championship, that they end up getting so wound up that they start making mistakes, mistakes that someone like me, who’s a little more “detached” from things can spot and take advantage of. There’s such a thing as “trying too hard”, in my opinion. That’s not to say that when I’m out there I’m not giving 100%, I just put my focus more on having fun and entertaining the fans than actually being the best all the time.

Hix: Yeah yeah, okay, “it’s for the fans, yadda yadda yadda..” We all know the schtick by now. But come on, are you seriously telling me you’d rather put on a decent “show” and lose than grind out a performance and win?

El Pablo: Heh.. Okay, truthfully? It depends. Whenever I’ve gone up against one of my XTC brothers, I’ve always said that whoever wins is irrelevant, it’s all about the team. And that, honest to God, is how I feel. X-Title, World Heavyweight Championship, it doesn’t matter to me. If I have to lose a match like that, I’d rather lose to someone like Ace or KB or Mike. But yes, at the same time there are exceptions. People like Justin Marsham, Matt Stylez, Tim Timmons.. These are people that I’ve into the ring with FULLY DETERMINED to kick seven shades of shit out of, on my way to picking up the victory. But even then, the title isn’t always the important thing. Me facing Marsham - as I said at the time - was nothing to do with the gold, really. It was to show him that you don’t mess with Team XTC. Same with Tim, same with Matt. The fact that I wound up winning the IC title was really just a happy coincidence.

Hix: A “happy coincidence”, huh?

EP shrugs again.

El Pablo: I don’t know how else to explain it, really. Hell, you can check yourself, the only champion I’ve actively gone after was Marsham. But somehow, call it fate, call it luck, call it.. God.. I dunno, somehow I’ve always ended up in the right place at the right time.

EP looks around, somewhat awkwardly.

El Pablo: And now we need to stop talking about this, before I sound like a hysterical Oscar winner.

Hix: Ha.. Okay then. Well, Jena Cyde has recently made a return to..

El Pablo: OHHHHHH.. We DEFINITELY can’t talk about that either!

BK: Oh, EP, about that..

EP turns his head to look at Kirkland, a stony look on his face.

El Pablo: What?

BK grins sheepishly, and holds a cell phone up, the on-screen display showing that an “M.BEAST” is calling. The colour immediately drains from what is visible of EP’s face.

El Pablo: You son of a..

Suddenly, a loud knocking sound can be heard on the office door. Everyone turns their head, except for BK who continues to grin at an increasingly distressed Five Star Superstar. From the other side of the door, a familiar voice begins to filter into the room.

Jena Cyde: Pabsy? You in there honey-tree? Kirkland? Is that you? Helloooo?

EP looks around frantically, as the knocking turns to a jiggling of the door handle. He spots the opening to an air vent behind Hix’s desk, and immediately springs out of his chair. He jumps up onto the desk..

Hix: Hey! Watch the varnish!

..and rips the cover off the wall.

El Pablo: You ain’t seen nothing, right?

With that, EP climbs up into the vent, disappearing just as the door crashes open, and Jena Cyde steps into the room.

Jena Cyde: Kirkland, where is he!? You said he’d be here!

BK: I.. I dunno! I think he’s in his locker-room, we’re still waiting on him to arrive.

Jena growls, and turns back into the hallway closing the door behind her. The remaining members of the room exchange relieved glances with each other, before Hix turns back to the camera.

Hix: Right, well.. That was.. interesting. I guess that about does it for this edition of the “Who’s the F’N Boss Show.” Do tune in next time, where business as usual should hopefully be resumed. For now though, it’s time for..

BK: Don’t tell me.. your final word?

Hix: Wha.. yes. I didn’t think you’d heard.

Cage: Please.. everybody’s heard.

KB: Huh? Sorry, I wasn’t listening. What’s everybody heard?

Suddenly, “Bird is the Word” hits the sound system, just as a sumo wrestler bursts in the room. KB and BK nearly fall off their chairs in shock, while Cage just places his face into his own palm. The sumo wrestler starts dancing something akin to a jumbo truffle shuffle, getting right up in the faces of the guests. After a few seconds, EP can be seen crawling back out of the air vent, crashing to the floor as the screen slowly fades to black.

We return to the Overdrive stage to conclude the broadcast.

Daniels: “Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much for joining us on this special edition of Overdrive. Tune in next week when we return to our regular format, bringing you the very best in professional wrestling. For William Masters, I’m Jarred Daniels. See you next week!”
