Current List Of Guidelines In CZW
How to Join
Joining CZW is as easy as registering to our boards, filling out our Singles or Tag-Team applications and posting them as a new topic in our rosters section. Our admins will be around to review and, if all checks out, approve your character within a few days.
Please check out our Official CZW Taken List to make sure your desired Pic Base, Theme Song, or Finishing Moves are not already taken. Duplicated Pic Bases, Themes, or Finishers will not be approved.
Adding additional information to your application is perfectly fine, but please complete the sections we've provided in the applications before anyting else.
Our Bi-Weekly Show
Every 2 weeks, CZW presents our flagship show Overdrive! Overdrive is a large-scale, WWE-level funded show with the in-ring mentality and attitude of an ECW/ROH/Monday Night Raw blend. You'll find every style, all types of characters and storylines you can only find in the ring of CZW on Overdrive!
We believe in a low-stress fedding experience. While all matches are competitive and based on the Promos/RPs of the competitiors, all Promos / Role Plays have a limit of 1,000 words, and all shows have a 1 RP / Promo Limit. So remember the golden rule: Quality Over Quantity.
Member participation is key in our shows. We believe in letting the members really drive their own storylines and angles, with segments they send in to be included in our shows.
Note: CZW has always had a flair for going over-the-top and delivering experiences that are both captivating, and extremely dangerous. If you're looking for a "subtle" wrestling experience, you may not find it here. However, if you're looking for fun and a series of "NO WAY!" reactions, CZW is for you.
Basic Fedding Rules
Member involvement is huge in CZW. We're a big family and we love welcoming new members into the fold. While this isn't really a rule, we do take notice to what members are active both out of character and in-character with Role Plays, Character Development Role Plays, and Show Segments. Make no mistake, these things will tie into the precedence we give your character on our shows.
Don't use another member's characters under any circumstances without their permission. The staff may use your character in a segment, but we will always contact you first to run our ideas by you. We take this rule very seriously, and violation will result in instant disqualification or other actions.
Keep things legal. In the realm of CZW, everything in a No-DQ match is covered legally, but things like drug use, murder, or other serious crimes or overly offensive material can not and should not be used in your promos. However, one can mention these things (you can't stab someone, but you can tell a story about stabbing someone, as long as it's not too brutally detailed. Make sense?)
In CZW, we believe that everyone on the show is a star. Win or lose, we will go out of our way to make sure your character is portrayed as importantly as you have in your head. Every title is important as is every match, from opener to main event.
Original wrestlers only. Please do not refer to any real wrestlers in your bio or RPs, in the "CZW universe" they do not exist.
