We're at the Cow Palace, and we're LIVE!" MASTERS: "Tonight we have a Falls Count Anywhere triple threat match between Cage Stryker, Dusty Davis, and Bryan McNally!" DANIELS: "And don't forget that 2-time World Heavyweight Champion Matt Stylez will host his 'Highlight Thrill' with guest and former friend, Ace King!" MASTERS: "That will be very interesting. I'm also very interested in the women's match, Sirena Starr against Mendez! What a couple of hotties!" DANIELS: "Uhh.. indeed, William. But first, another three way dance.. Leo Crow takes on Shawn Streetz and Johnny Cage!" **************************************************************** Triple Threat Match: LEO CROW vs. SHAWN STREETZ vs. JOHNNY CAGE ****************************************************************
Shawn Streetz is already in the ring, standing in a corner. Johnny Cage comes out from the entrance ramp, to nearly no reaction at all. He looks around, confused, and then just walks down to the ring acting dejected. He climbs into the ring, and looks over at Shawn.
Protest the Hero's "Palms Read" begins to play and the crowd is electric with jeers. Leo Crow comes out and pauses. He looks out into the crowd as if satisfied by their reaction. He then looks up at the two men in the ring. Cage and Streetz start brawling with each other, and Leo casually walks to the ring. He slides in, slyly, and neither man notice him. Cage kicks Shawn in the gut and nails a vertical suplex. As soon as Cage gets up, though, Leo stuns him with a snap DDT. Leo then picks up Streetz and NAILS him with the Fathom Flight. He covers Streetz, disrespectfully grinding his elbow in his face.

CRASH
Crow comes down hard on the chair, crushing Shawn's head in it. Shawn flops around like a fish, and Leo admires his handiwork for a moment before leaving the ring. Medics come to check on the fallen men, and the camera focuses on Leo's sadistic smile as he walks backwards up the ramp. **************************************************************** THE WINNER: LEO CROW by PINFALL via the FATHOM FLIGHT (:53) **************************************************************** * cZw! * * The scene cuts to the back and the crowd react as they see Assault Superstar and current World TV Champ, "Mr. TV" Shawn Waters walking down the hallway. The crowd pops when he stops at someone's feet. The camera looks over and it's War Zone GM, Alan Fiscus. He is wearing a "Ladytron" t-shirt. * WATERS: Oh, crap...what the hell do you want? ALAN: "Waters, Waters... Welcome to War Zone, oh buddy, oh pal! I just wanted to give you a warm welcome and let you know, despite our past I will remain the professional I am and not hold any ill feelings. I am happy to have you.. and more importantly, the TV title.. on War Zone." *Waters looks at Alan suspisciously* WATERS: Well, I guess I'm glad to be here. As long as I keep my TV title, I'm happy. ALAN: "Yes, yes. Well I also want you to know that the TV title will be defended more frequently than you have been used to. Next week, I will book a match to determine a challenger. But I wanted to ask you. I just -so- enjoy your little segment 'Testing the Waters'. Would you be gracious enough to host one next week?" *Shawn smiles* WATERS: Yeah, sure. I mean, these fans need some real entertainment for once... ALAN: "Yeah, -that's- why I asked you to do it, sure. Anyway, awesome, glad to hear it. And I have just the guest for you. He's an Outlaw, though, so be careful. I want your guest to be Buck Evans. What do you say?" WATERS: Alright, cool. It'll be fun... *Shawn holds his hand out for Alan to shake* * Fiscus pauses and then shakes his hand, and it's obvious both men are putting a lot of their strength into it. Both men have a grimacing smile on their face, and they eventually release the handshake. The camera cuts back to the ring. * **************************************************************** Tag Team Match: ROB WRIGHT & JORDAN BRYANT vs. THE SAMOAN WRECKING CREW ****************************************************************
"The Baller" Jordan Bryant is introduced first, coming down to the ring to "Second Coming" by Juelz Santana. The crowd mostly boo him, with many of them thinking he doesn't respect the sport and will be going back to basketball at any time. He shrugs them off, looking to be in tip top condition. He comes down to the ring, dribbling a basketball with a fine grace. He gets in the ring, and "Get Back" by Ludacris begins to play. Out comes the very confident, the very cocky Rob Wright. The Real Deal. The CZW Career Killer, he calls himself after ending a handful of short CZW careers. He comes to the ring and arrogantly poses to the crowd who are of course jeering him. He flips into the ring with great athletic skill, and he barely acknowledges Bryant until right before their opponents are announced.
MASTERS: Wright and Bryant going over a game plan, smart move.
"More Human Than Human" by White Zombie begins to play, and the crowd pop loud. Out come the Samoan Wrecking Crew, sans Mendez who is preparing for her CZW in ring debut. The play up to the crowd, who seem firmly behind them. They come running down to the ring and slide in, immediately attacking the previous team, with Sammy jumping Rob, and Jamel jumping Jordan. The referee tries to get things in order, with Jamel and Jordan eventually going to their respective corners. Rob and Sammy begin circling each other as the bell rings. They lock up, and Sammy takes the lead due to his strength advantage. He backs Rob into a corner, and begins chopping the spit out of him. Each time the crowd goes WOO! He chops him four times and then irish whips him into the corner, following. Rob kips up though, and Sammy nails the corner shoulder first. Rob then dropkicks Sammy's knee from under him. Rob then drags Sammy to his corner and tags in Jordan. Rob holds up Sammy's arm, and Bryant punches at Sammy's ribs. Bryant then hits Sammy with a toe kick. After a scoop slam, Jordan goes for the cover.

Sammy takes a moment to get up, but tags in Jamel who comes in and cleans house. He slams Jordan down. He then slams Rob down, who just entered the ring. He grabs both men and slams their heads together. The crowd is cheering the large Samoan on and he takes a moment to live it up. He throws Rob out of the ring and then picks up Jordan. He nails him with a Full Nelson slam, and goes for the cover. Only a two count. He then picks up Jordan and chops the hell out of him. Jamel throws him to the ropes, and Jamel nails a Gorilla press. Daniels comments on the power of Jamel, and Masters has no choice but to agree. Jamel takes a moment to pose to the crowd, and goes to pick Jordan back up. Jordan with a cheap shot, as he pokes Jamel in the eye. Jordan then hits a knee lift, reeling Jamel back. Jordan tags in Rob, and Rob springboards into the ring, drop kicking Jamel and sending him to the mat. He goes for the cover.

"More Human Than Human" plays again, and this time it's Mendez set to make her in ring debut. She comes down to the ring to mostly cheers. She gets in the ring, and "Shooting Star" begins to play. The crowd pops loudly as Sirena Starr comes running out, pumping up the crowd. She runs down to the ring, and jumps in. She poses on the top turnbuckle to another pop. She jumps down, and both ladies shake hands. The bell rings.
Masters mentions how hot each women are, and Daniels adds in that they are both very capable athletes as well. They circle each other, and lock up. Mendez, the taller one, takes control first. She locks in a headlock and takes Sirena down. Sirena counters with a head scissors. They both get up and acknowledges each other's skills. The lock up again, and Mendez throws Starr to the ropes. Starr comes back, and Mendez nails her with a Spine buster. Mendez picks her up and irish whips her to the ropes. Mendez comes chasing in with a strong elbow. Mendez picks her up, and locks in a torture rack.
The ref is asking Starr, but she says no. Daniels states that this move is hardly seen anymore. Masters says it's because not many can do it effectively, but Mendez seems to know how. The curtains part and Ed somberly steps out onto the ramp, his usual grin lost from his face. His pace is slow and sullen as he approaches the ring. Climbing inside, Jessica hands him a microphone. Special Ed: Hey guys... The crowd cheer harder, trying to brighten Ed's spirits, but to no avail as Ed brushes a strand of hair out of his face. Special Ed: I know I'm not coming across as my usual jolly self, but ya see, I had a pretty bad week. Actually, I had a down right shitty week. The fans gasp and mothers cover their children's ears after Ed innapropriately dropped the "S" bomb on live television. Special Ed: You see, I feel as though I may have prematurely caused Mack Beaudin's downfall at May Massacre. I inadvertantly dropped the guy on his neck. Sure he chose to fight the pain with alcohol which wasn't the brightest of ideas, and sure some people think there was foul play involved. But his accident hangs heavy on my heart. And so Mack... Ed looks into the nearest camera. Special Ed: I know you're watching at home, and I just want to wish you a speedy recovery, my friend. Get well and come on back so we can throw down for the fans one more time! The fans get excited and begin cheering, "Get well Mack! Get well Mack!" Ed takes in their appraisal for a moment. Special Ed: So I go on Assault this past Sunday, hoping to ease my burdens with an apology to Mr. Montana... The fans boo his name furiously. Special Ed: And wouldn't you know it? Turns out Montana could give a damn less about Mack's current situation. Which doesn't surprise me, really. And then he slapped me of course. That wasn't much of a surprise either... And then my young cousin Jigga came to my rescue... The crowd is mixed with reactions for Jigga, some furious boos and others grateful cheers. Special Ed: Don't get me wrong, he's a good guy you'd want to have your back if you were in a tight spot, but there we were facing Montana who still felt as though he had the upperhand. Little did we know, he actually did... Ed points to the tron where clips from Assault begin to play. Jigga and Ed appear to be at the ready for an attack as Montana continues running his mouth. They are interupted by the appearance of Ed's cousin and Jigga's older brother "Bad Ass" Matt Covey. The scene changes to Bad Ass in the face of Montana, before turning and nailing his brother, and then dropping Ed with the "Blow It Out Your Ass". The video fades to black, the fans booing the vicious attack. Special Ed: Great. Fantastic. Matt is out of jail, and we're back to square one. And by square one I mean him beating me and Jigga relentlessly and with no cause, just because that's how he does things. Awesome. Ed looks down at the mat, before brushing the hair out of his face once more. Special Ed: Well, you want to know something Matt? Ed glares at the nearest camera once more. Special Ed: I'M SICK OF IT!!! I'm sick of being your whipping boy! I'm sick of you making your name at MY expense! You've always beat me if I had something you wanted, whether that thing be a gold belt or a girl, and I've had enough! I have nothing for you to take away from me this time. I mean, I have Hellena, but unlike Lizzy, I don't think she likes you very much. I have a stable position with Team XTC, but you're not a team player kind of guy. I don't have a title. So why don't you just LEAVE ME ALONE!!! Ed appears to be foaming over the lip when he is suddenly interupted by a visage on the tron. A live feed is shown of a masked man in what appears to be a dungeon with a fmiliar looking coconut monkey locked up next to him in a cage.
Masked Man: I wouldn't worry too much about your cousin if I were you, Ed. You remember this little guy don't you? The masked man points to Loki in the cage, the crowd booing hysterically. Ed's eyes go wide, his pace frantic. Special Ed: Loki?! LOKI?!? Masked Man: How easy it was for you to forget about the little guy when you heart is filled with such burdens. Well as you can see, he's mine now. And I've got several ideas in store for his future... Special Ed: What do you want? GIVE HIM BACK! Masked Man: No. I don't think I will. As a matter of fact, I do have something in mind that I want. But you'll just have to wait to know what that something is. For now, he'll do nicely as a distraction... The video feed cuts, Ed nearly pulling the hair out of his head. The crowd shouts with a gasp of horror as Ed is suddenly nailed from behind with a steel chair. Ed collpases to the mat as his cousin "Bad Ass" Matt Covey stands over him. Matt begins kicking him mercilessly in the ribs with his steel toe boots. Helpless, Ed gasps as Matt begins driving the steel chair into the bruised ribs repeatedly. Bad Ass then places the chair around Ed's neck before grabbing up Ed's microphone. Bad Ass: You just don't get it, do ya Ed? It's never been about the things you have. It's about me doing what I want, when I want! And because you're such a retard that you're easily distracted by the loss of a damn coconut, I feel like beating the common sense back into you! DO YOU HEAR ME ED?!? Your last name is Covey. COVEY! That means you listen to me, and you do what I tell you to do, and if you resist, I beat you like the bitch that you are! The crowd explodes as Ace and Pablo come running from the back. Bad Ass: Oh, and here come your bitch ass friends... You two stop where you are, or I break his f**king neck! Matt raises a foot over the steel chair, Ace and Pablo coming to a halt just outside of the ring. Bad Ass: God you bitches are so predictable. Matt stomps the steel chair anyway, Ed's eyes bulging from his skull as blood spurts out of his mouth. Ace and Pablo immediately slide into the ring as Bad Ass bails out of the ring and into the crowd. Pablo slides the chair off of Ed's neck and waves the medic crew down to the ring as Ace peers over the ropes, shouting at Matt as he leaves. Bad Ass: You just remember what I said Ed. You and Al both belong to ME! And I take what is MINE! He continues to leave, the camera zooming in on Ed as he continues choking up blood, as the show cuts to a commercial. **************************************************************** Triple Threat Intergender Tag Match: EP & RUTHLESS vs. AAN & TATUM vs. BUCK & BRENDA ****************************************************************
It was announced at the beginning of the match that The All-American Nightmare and Tatum Regan's flight was delayed and they were still in Portland and would not be making the match. Darrin Powers, CZW's head ref, changed the match into a normal tag match. El Pablo stayed out at ringside after Ed was taken to the back in a stretcher. Ruth has joined him, and they both await Buck and Brenda.
"Ramblin' Man" begins to play to a chorus of boos. Out comes Brenda Vixen and "Outlaw" Buck Evans. They soak in the jeers as if they were oxygen, and head down to the ring. Buck and El Pablo are set to start the match off, as the bell rings. They circle each other, but as they were about to lock up Buck nails EP with a knee to the gut. He then nails EP with a gutwrench suplex. He picks EP up and nails a double arm DDT. He goes for the cover, but only gets one. He flings EP to the ropes, but EP reverses it. Buck comes back and is met with a kick to the gut. EP grabs him, and nails a Twist of Fate! He goes for the pin, but Brenda comes in and breaks it up. Ruth gets in the ring and talks trash to Brenda, who gets right in her face. The ref gets in between them and sends them back to their corners. It was pointless though, as both EP and Buck tag them back in.
Ruth and Brenda lock up and Brenda immediately throws Ruth down. Masters is amazed by the power of Vixen. Brenda tells Ruth to bring it on, and Ruth goes to the ropes and tries to shoulderblock Brenda. No go. She tries again. No budge. She tries for a third time, but Brenda grabs her and nails her with a sidewalk slam. She then picks Ruth up by the throat and slams her back down with a choke slam. She goes for the cover.

Eddie holds his arm out and leans forward in a slight bow. Eddie: "To make this short and sweet, I'd just like to let everyone know that I'll be making my debut next week on Warzone. I have no idea who I'll be facing, but I thought it might be a good idea to let everyone in the locker room know, so they can ALL be prepared, just in case." The sold-out crowd is on it's feet, as the lights in the arena go dim. A green strobe light pulsates throught the packed house, as they the suddenly stop. We hear words over the P.A. system...
"I'm Not Jesus....Jesus Wasn't Fair! (Wasn't Fair, Jesus Wasn't Fair)"
As an earth-shattering instrumental cause the audience to erupt in a mixed reaction, as we hear "I'm Not Jesus" by Apocalyptica blare over the arena's speakers, and a white light joins the strobe, as stepping from behind the thick black curtains of the CZW set, is Bryan McNally, his muscular frame higlighted in the glowing lights. As he presses his hands together above his head, his signature taunt, green flames from the set emerge, Ultimo Dragon style. The Irishman, makes his way to the ring, leaping on the apron, and stepping over the top rope. He walks towards the turnbuckle, climing it, and using his hand-gesture again, leaping down from the ropes, as our lights return to normal....
Nickelback’s cover of “Sharp Dressed Man” blasts from the PA system and smoke fills the stage at the top of the ramp. From the smoke, out walks Dusty Davis looking ready for a fight. The crowd showers him with their boos, which he seems to enjoy. In the ring, Dusty stands on the second rope at all four corners and poses for the crowd.
“Ladies and Gentleman” by Saliva resounds through the arena when Cage Stryker walks out and down to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd. Cage has a smile of confidence on his face as he makes his way to the ring while being praised by the crowd through their cheers.
The ref calls for the bell, and the three combatants stand in three of the four corners eyeing each other. Dusty and Bryan seems to form an agreement and both attack Cage with punches and kicks. They pummel Cage to the mat, and begin to stomp at him. During the stomp fest, Dusty hits Bryan from behind with a hard forearm. Dusty picks Bryan back up and sets him up for suplex, but Bryan blocks and counters with a suplex of his own. Cage has rolled out of the ring by now and is looking under the ring for a weapon. Bryan follows his suplex up with an elbow and boots to Dusty’s torso. In the middle of Bryan’s stompfest, Cage comes in and hits Bryan in the face with a steel chair. This lays Bryan out, and allows Cage to go for a pin on Dusty.

Over his white shirt, is a black blazer. He removes the jacket and readjusts his belt and retrieves a microphone from the bench.- Matt Stylez: Welcome to the first ever rendition of The Highlight Thrill. You see, I just had to come up with something to give a little more ring time and something a little different. You can only come down to this ring and fight the same idiots week in and week out before you begin to get tired of it. Quite frankly, Matt Stylez was getting a little burned out on the wrestling matches. In all honesty, When was the last time that I got to fight someone other than, Ace King… El Pablo… Ronnie McNeil… That pretty much sums up the past few months for me. It’s clear that those three names walk hand in hand with a number one contender spot but in the end, It leaves the champion… burned out. Likewise, Fighting the same people over… and over… and over… gives me the heads up because when they try to come in and take the title, I know every trick they possess… unlike them I don’t throw every trick in the book out, I pick and choose my battles and I pick and choose when I want to do what I do. With that said, I would like to welcome the first ever guest on the Highlight Thrill… He is the new, less lustrous, North American Tag Team Champion… and Former World Champion…. The Gambler… ACE KING. -The fans all cheer as “Aces of Spades” blares and Ace King appears on the ramp with his title. He too is more formally dressed, since he didn’t have a match tonight. He slaps hands with fans as he goes down the ramp and rolls into the ring. He smiles at Stylez, then looks down at his title belt before retrieving the second microphone.- Matt Stylez: Welcome Ace. It’s a privilege to have you on the First Ever, Highlight Thrill. -The fans are beginning to get into the sideshow and smile and cheer. Mainly for Ace King, but no doubt for other reasons.- Ace King: Thanks Matt, but what kind of games are you trying to play out here? I mean normally you are hiding in the shadows, striking from the dark. Why are you going to come out here and host a talk show? That just doesn’t seem very Stylez-esque to me. What are you trying to pull man? Matt Stylez: Ace, That hurts man. I mean we are coming up on Summer Showdown… so even I want to give the fans what they want. I’ve been monitoring the polls, and it looks like I will be facing an Upstart in the infamous Buried at Sea match. The first time EVER that will be hosted… While you… You will be defending your titles with Pablo, but the polls are far to close to call a winner just yet aren’t they. Ace King: The polls are close, but it doesn’t matter who we face. We will take them down just like we have any other opponent… Matt Stylez: Hold the phone there cowboy. You and Pablo… Take down every other opponent? Need I refresh your memory of May Massacre? To be honest, I don’t see how you guys won the tag titles when you couldn’t even pin ME in what appeared to be a handicap match. Ace King: Luck Stylez, Luck. That’s all it was. Matt Stylez: Luck… Victory… Whatever you want to call it. A win is a win, and right now it looks like I am holding The CZW Heavyweight Title… The label of THE BEST… AGAIN. While you are left to grovel in the tag team division. Seriously Ace… I thought you were better than this… Ace King: What are you trying to imply? That the tag division is weak? Matt Stylez: Face it King, If it weren’t for me… The tag division would still be run by those Eskimo sonsofbitches. It was ME who sparked the Tag Division, and since I have left to go to bigger and better things… The tag division is leaving a lot to be desired. Look at the tag champs from both shows… King and Pablo, the two who couldn’t put ME away in a three way that just so happened to turn handicapped… and Mike King and Tim Timmons… Seriously Ace… Ace King: Whatever you say Matt. I am not going to stand here and justify why I lose… How I lost… or anything in between. You beat me, and with that screwed Pablo out of the X-Title. After the PPV, we were given the opportunity to take the tag titles and we did just that. We took them, and we aren’t looking back. You may be the Champ now, but you failed to do what you said you were going to… me and Pablo, We are both still standing… and we are standing TOGETHER as Champions now. So I guess, Thanks Matt… Without you we wouldn’t have these tag titles. -Ace looks lovingly at the Tag Title on his shoulder, Stylez just takes off his glasses revealing his red pupils once more. He smirks at the Tag Title and then adjusts his own belt on his shoulder.- Matt Stylez: Ace, You really are the peoples champ. They love you, and they love to hate me. They love the stable that “I” created. XTC, a spawn of myself… that I have nearly destroyed. Ace, It’s quite evident that I can’t get rid of you pests alone. That no matter what One Man does, The number game is something that you will always have over me. Running around with your little news broadcasts… Pretending to be funny so that the thirteen year old boys will hang posters of you in the room . Ace, If anything that this little Highlight Thrill shows, I want to make a point that the numbers may not be… what they seem. - The lights flash in the arena, Ace King steps back and draws his fists as Stylez laughs. The lights flickering give enough time to have a second figure appear in the ring. Standing next to Stylez. King drops his title belt and prepares for a fight. The lights slowly turn back on, and in the ring with Stylez stands his partner, Leo Crow. Crow has a sadistic grin on his face, and perched on his right arm, is his bird. Ace calms down a little, and picks up his belt.- Ace King: So what? You just called this little show so that you could come out here and pick apart XTC one by one? Is that what it entails? Matt Stylez: Oh you are very wrong Ace. This little show isn’t going to be the demise of XTC. This little show is just putting all the pieces on the playing board. Don’t think for one minute that XTC will continue to run War Zone… Ace… Believe me when I tell you that Anarchy is rising… -With that, The lights flicker again, this time Crow and Stylez both laugh. The strobes hitting around, Ace King looking around almost in a panic, until he looks up the ramp and behind the screen of the CombatTron it looks almost as if someone is standing there, with every flicker of light, another shadow appears, followed by another. Until standing behind that screen it appears to be five people. Ace King looks on in disbelief. He turns back to look at Stylez as the lights are still dim, but now Stylez and Crow are gone. The spot light hits the CombatTron and Stylez and Crow are both standing in front of the screen on the tron. Behind them, the Anarchy Logo burns with flames as the words appear on the screen, as if drop dripping blood.- ANARCHY RISING -The screen then fades on Stylez and Crow standing there, and Ace Kings face turning pale white almost as if he had seen a ghost.- **************************************************************** * cZw! *
